I would have to agree with Doc on this one. I think it would be a cold day in hell before NY let you put a plot on state land. I got a warning ticket one time for picking a few mushrooms. So I would think digging up the ground would probably chafe there panties a bit. Not to mention it wouldn't really help anything just get a few more deer shot by someone else from all your hard work.

Super nice shed's looks like a buck I had come in to 40 yrds and wouldn't get any closer this yr during bow. I was wondering where he went to. Tell him to get back here will ya. I havent found any sheds after several outings or seen any deer wearing there rack either. I think they are all dead. My uncle said one guy who own's a bunch of property on the back side of the hill we hunt was bragging about his family killing 15 deer this yr off the hill. Which would explain why there is a lack of sign there right now. I bet he'll be the first one complaining about not seeing any deer next yr to. I ran into another guy in the woods sheding Sunday. He say's he hasn't found a shed yet either and usually has a hand full by now. His theory is landowner on the other side of the hill on this other property is feeding the deer and they are all over there hanging out. Hard to tell where the deer have been since there is no snow. Was easier last yr to find sheds because they actually yarded up because of the snow.

Longest and easiest track job Ive had was a heart shot deer. Heart was litterally gone and that deer made it 150 - 200 yrds down hill before pileing up. Blood everywhere though. I got a little worried after about 100 yrds and no deer yet. But another 50 yrds and I could see it dead, was really amazed when I opened it up and saw the damage from the shotgun slug.

Bullet placement is key, 150 grains through a shoulder bone will grenade to.Ive killed deer with 90 grain bullets out of a 25-06. With that said, any of the above mentioned premium rounds are good suggestions. I prefere a well placed round in the ribs that will expend all it's energy inside the deer's vitals. problem you might get going to a heavier constructed bullet that stays together is the bullet might not expand correctlly on such a thin skinned animal as a deer, and just zip through leaving a small hole to bleed out of. Not much differance in diam. of 130 and 150. It's what happens after it fully expands that counts. If it's grouping good and your confident in it I wouldn't change a thing.

If your on the juice it would be a waste of money to use creatine so not sure what other supplements you are refering to. And dont nock the creatine till youve tried it. I find it reduces my recovery time and I get more energy for lifting heavy. All bodies are different maybe it wont help you but it does me. As far as Unnatural, abnormal muscle bulk is not only ugly...it is unhealthy! I would have to say is just your opinion. Alot of people pay alot of money to go see the pro's and to look like them, so I think more than a few people think it looks good.
-
Not neccesarilly true, some people are blessed with good genetics. I got accused one time of taking steroids. I was doubling up on creatine but not steroids. Lift heavy and watch your diet and you can get pretty big. Now the pro's are obviously using but not every ordinary joe who looks huge is. Some do it right. Now sports players they should be force to use drugs, especially baseball. With out the drugs none of the sports are worth watching.

And then getting hit with 39,000 ftlbs to boot. It would be like having several tractor trailers dropped on you. I would think all appendiges would go in different directions post haste!!!! Talk about watermellon effect.

Yeah lets go NJ Giants, errrrr wait a minute?

Dang, still looks like a mature deer by the size of the body. Looks like all the protein went to putting on weight instead of making horns. Hom much he weigh? Good deer nothing to spit at.

Anyone incorprate chicory in your food plots? I'm sitting here trying to figure out what im going to do for a plot this yr. I was to busy to get it done last yr and relied on the acorns which ended up falling through and my deer sightings went to almost nill this yr on one property compaired to last yr. All the deer stayed on the neighbors hay fields and brush lots. I have read that if you take care of a plot of chicory and white clover it could last up to 5 yrs. Which would be handy to just have to mow every once in a while instead of busting my hump trying to get a plot in evey yr.

Sorry for your loss man, It sucks to lose a dog especially when you can't do anything about it but watch it go down.

Anyone read his book yet? Over 150 confirmed and witnessed kill's over 4 tours as a navy seal in Iraq is quite impressive. http://www.foxnews.c...ntcmp=obnetwork Personal Story" segment tonight, Chief Chris Kyle, a Navy SEAL, is officially the most lethal sniper in U.S. military history. The chief has written a brand-new book called "American Sniper" that chronicles his amazing story in Iraq.
