Was looking at a drop away once but looks to complicated for deer hunting. To many parts to go wrong.

Love the WB!! I had that one one for 3 yrs and never changed the bisquit and it never even looked worn and I shoot alot. One thing I can never understand is the complaint that the WB will ruin your fletchings. I kept an eye on my fletchings to see if it would ruin them but after a few hundred shots I stopped watching them because I never saw any kind of ware. Just have to remember to take the screws out and oil them up so you can make some adjustment later if you change your set up.

Funny how everyone has different experiances in different areas. I planted turnips and rape last yr and the deer mowed them down to dirt after the 1st frost. Only problem was that it was a week before bow so I never even got to hunt the plot. Still not sure what I will plant this yr. Probably a mix of oats and winter rye, it seems to last longer than rape.

Predator bow hunting jacket. Gets a little nipply in the late season, but I got a size larger so I can put on extra sweaters.

Not to forget to mention older bucks means harder bucks to kill. People are use to sitting in a field and shooting the first spike or 4 point that comes along. Ive read a few article about hunting clubs that went to QDM and after a few yrs people were a little fed up with it even though they were seeing big bucks on thier cameras they weren't killing any of them. It wasn't till they backed off the food plots and started hunting the thicker nasty stuff that they started bringing in the bacon so to speak, a change of tactics will have to be made. So, no the big bucks won't be behind every tree but there will be more of them and when the people who are againts AR start to kill them thier attitude will change. The only problem I see with it is where will it stop. When people have killed a bunch of 130's then they will want 160's so then will it go to 8 point only and then people will want to kill 200's so then it will go to 10 point only, though I beleive in NY if you kill something over 140 you have a freak of nature on your hands. I think AR would be good but it might open a whole nother can of worms. Feeding deer comes to mind, and in my opinion it would take alot of the sport out of deer hunting and just make it farming and killing which if you want to do that just go on a canned hunt.

Well im not to happy, tried to tune the bow today. Had a slight right hand tear and tried to un lossen the horizontal adjustment and move the rest but couldn't lossen the screw, it was stuck solid. In the process of trying to get it unstuck I stripped the head. Threw the hole thing out. There gos 70 bucks. Now I have to go get another Whisker Biscuit and start all over again. Looking at the Kill Shot anyone use this?

I know, kind of kicking myself. But my whisker bisquit had the large hole and I would have had to order and replace it and funds are a little tight. And I was kind of anxious to get shooting since its already July and I havent pulled the bow back once. But It's still a heck of a lot better than what I had, watch out deer.

Go up to the catch and release area in deposit by the highway. I have seen some in there that make 17 inch look like a minnow. Cannonsville res has some real hogs in it to.

Most of them are just crap anymore. All I can do is just sit there and shake my head and turn the channel. I was watching hank parker the other day and all I could think is he should have stuck to fishing shows. Was watching another show the other day i dont remember the name of it. But the guy had a big buck come in out of range of his muzzleloader. He just sat there and whinned about how he would love to shoot that deer but it was to far away. I was just sitting there like, I don't know maybe get down out of your stand and sneak over and shoot him then you stupid sh-- !!!! He didn't deserve to shoot such a nice buck for being so dumb any how.

I see Cabelas broadheads are still in a six pack to.

I see Wasp has nixed there 6 packs of fixed boss and sst heads. I wonder how long till muzzy gos to a three pack. Might have to find a cheaper broadhead or stick the 2yr old heads back on this yr.

Got her all sighted in out to 30 yrds today, all I can say is awesome! Just need to do a little paper tuning and I should be good to go. Much better bow than what I had before, really nice and tight groups.

Hey Ive had a few x's that discription fits on.

Went over to some state land in windsor the other day and got soaked so I headed home. On the way I stopped by the other stateland I hunt on and had to stop about half way and get out to releive myself because of all the water I was drinking. Im standing there and hear a car coming so I finish and get back in my car and look in the rear view window and there is a Sherrif behind me. I roll down my window and he pulls around and asks what Im doing. I told him and he laughed. Asked if I was doing some shooting and I told him no. Then I asked him if it was legal and he said yes as long as you pick up after yourself which people were not doing so he was keeping an eye on the place. people were also dumping down there to so he was keeping an eye out for that to. I told him I had already raked up two garbage cans worth of shot shells and he noticed there were getting more and he was going to stop in and check more often to see if he could catch them.

Wow thats a tough one, feel sorry for people who have this problem. Would feel a little better if they had a full phsych eval and a doctor sign off and proof they are taking there meds to. It's just to much of a risk to have someone off there meds running around with a gun. I agree it's your constitutional right to own a gun and no one can take it away, But if you have a tendancy to say there are voices in your head telling you to load your guns and shoot people you shouldn't have access to guns no matter how much medication you are on.

I'm sure some of the Folks of the early Old Testament would disagree with you and would have loved to have had a crossbow as well as Otsi the ice man. Sticks and twigs have been killing alot longer than crossbows. Just sayin. As long as were arguing like children I think the crossbow season should start out with a primitive crossbow. We bow hunters had to start out with sticks and twigs! It's not fair not fair!!!!! Seriously, let crossbows in the bow season, it will be great for the kids, women and old people and the sport.

With the current direction the DEC seems to be taking with trying to control the deer herds with less hunters every yr I would not suprise me one bit if they were trying to make a use what weapon you want season. When primitive bow and the late primitive muzzleloader seasons were implemented there were few deer and fewer bow hunters to make a dent in the populations. As the Farm lands dissapeared and the reforestation of the southern zone began the deer populations exploded so compounds were allowed and inlines. Now that the population of deer are at an all time high ( or so we are lead to beleive) and the hunter recruitment is at an all time low( or so we are lead to beleive ), I wouldn't be suprised if you didn't see an all weapons season. The gun season has historically always been the population control season with bow and muzzleloader being the season to get a few more deer to reach the DEC's magic number of a population that is sustainable. With lower hunter numbers and higher deer populations there is no longer a need for bow and muzzleloader seasons why not just make it three month's to fill your alloted tags? Besides there would be a general riot and probably a few linchings

Just got another dozen xx75 alum. lites. They fly good and fast out of any bow I have ever shot and the last dozen I bought lasted for about seven yrs ( I was actually down to 4 that were usable). Never saw a need to hunt with carbons, Havent found a deer yet who could move fast enough to get out of the way of Aluminum arrows out to 25 yrds. And there cheaper and I think more forgiving in a hunting situation. I know alot of people who kill lots of deer every yr with Easton gamegetters which are pretty cheap also.
