There used to be a guy in my area that collected every can he could find, even to go as far as going through garbage cans on recyclable day......he was far from poor, had a House, nice car, boat.

that makes sense....well kinda, but I guess if I try hard enough I could see a desperate person do something like that. Oh, and you haven't seen anything until you see some of the stuff in Penn Station in NYC.

it sometimes helps if your dates are flexible, certain days are cheaper.

I usually watch the prices like a mental patient weeks before booking a flight.What airports you flying to and from?

I usually use Southwest or JetBlue and book direct with them.....not sure of Southwest is an option for you, but they don't charge baggage fees.

yeah, I have my own views on Life Insurance policies, but don't want to derail this thread...........but one thing on them is certain, the younger age at which you buy either, the cheaper you will get coverage for.

Thanks for all the advice, the walls are gonna be open for a week or so after the plumbing is fixed so I'll have a chance to watch for leaks.

or get a friend of yours that the kids don't know, and the next time they don't listen and wander off, have the friend grab the kid and start running away with em........works like a charm.

tell you what, I did a google search, andreally can't find any complaints about any of the connectors......

looks like pex is the way to go.............the tool is probably pennies compared to the price of copper anyway, I couldn't believe how much it went up in price.

I'd rather do it the best way possible so cost of buying the tools is not a problem........how does it hold up if you have to attach it to a copper pipe for a repair, any leak concerns?

I'm redoing a bathroom in my house, after opening it up, the plumbing (hot and cold water to upstairs bath and one of the baseboard radiators) looks like a disaster and it needs to be replaced......real tight area and sweating copper in those close quarters makes me a little uneasy.........has anyone used PEX for a project like this?

your from Long Island right? I'm sure you must have heard of the duck farm out east that completely polluted the one waterway, don't recall exactly which one........I remember bowfishing one of the ponds it led to, absolutely disgusting.

a good one is to wait until they're distracted and then quietly slip away and watch from a distance, the look of sheer panic on their faces when they frantically look around for you is priceless..........
