if you go on any arrow manufacturers website, most will have arrow selection charts.....that's what I would do.

nice camo job........

on older boats, the outboard is probably 90% of the boats value.....you buy a nice hull with an older outboard and if the outboard craps out you'll be paying a good penny to replace it. I'd focus more on the outboard then the hull itself, even Bayliner, which is on the lower end of the scale, should serve you well for what you're looking for....they've been around forever and if they where that crappy I doubt they still would be....nothing worse then an outboard that gives you a headache every time you want to use the boat.

I got one from my local archery shop not too long ago, if you have one nearby see if they can give you one.

one thing I know for sure, lead bullets are definitely deadly to deer.....
-
how about sharing the recipe and smoker time and temps?? looks great.
-
I'm not the least bit concerned about the amount of lead I may consume or already have consumed from eating wild game I've killed.....but if there's alternatives that can be used by CHOICE to make some feel better, then I don't see a problem with someone using it and putting the info out there for others to look at.

Buckshot is illegal in NY.
-
if there's something out there that is just as good as lead without the possible dangers, I'm all for it as long as it's a choice.....as long as it kills what I'm shooting, I really don't care, dead is dead.

The regs just state that it is illegal to take a deer or bear while it is in water.. Manner of Taking It is unlawful to: Take big game while the deer or bear is in water. Possess a firearm of any description when bowhunting or when accompanying a person bowhunting during special archery seasons. Make, set or use a salt lick on land inhabited by deer or bear.

what's an airbow?

I'm far from a gardener, only have flowerbeds, but I found the black plastic or fabric holds in warmth which the bugs, mostly ants, love.....I would just keep on top of the weeding if it were me.

whether or not you see any wear, I would change it every 2-3 years, I just changed the one on my Hoyt that was about 3-4 years old and saw a marked improvement in speed.....I guess they stretch over time, I won't wait that long in the future.

I gotta say this, since we're on the topic of the pain and fear an animal feels when being killed by a human....almost every deer I've killed with an arrow was dead when I found it or died with never knowing what happened to it, and never seeing me. However, I can't say that about the deer I've shot with a bullet, there have been many that have layed there unable to move, taking their last breath while they watched me approach or stood next to them.......and I bet the majority can say the same.
-
I've learned to accept that an animal I intend to kill will more then likely be scared and feel some pain after I shoot them...pretty much comes with the territory. The act of killing something is seldom pretty, regardless of the weapon.
-
I buried a sheetrock knife in my wrist once....other then the "oh Sh@t" shock value, it reall wasn't an overwhelming pain.....and I doubt an animal can even process the thought of something like that like we can. I'm willing to bet that in some cases, if not most, the loud explosion of gunfire, followed by the massive impact of a bullet lends itself to more suffering then being shot with an arrow.....especially a well placed one.

ok, here's one from this past season.....drove all night to get to our Cabin, get there at around 3:00 a.m., run inside get dressed and grab the decoys, while inside my brother hears something metallic hit the ground and says "what was that"...I say "who cares, let's get going". I drop him off and start racing to my spot and realize something doesn't feel right, I look down and realize my wedding ring is gone, at this point I totally forgot about that metallic sound earlier, so I race back to where I dropped him off and look around like a mental patient, nothing. I then race back to the house and look all over the ground between the parking area and the house, again nothing. I'm just about to give up when I remember that sound earlier and go inside and find it in a back corner under one of the bunk beds.....needless to say I got in a little later then planned.

it's basically an unusable, unhuntable strip of land that runs between the two properties, maybe 50 yards wide, I would consider it heavy shade in the spring and summer when all the trees are full....some of it would actually be planted inside the woods. I'm not too concerned with whatever I plant entirely taking over the area, a very small area borders a section of our lawn, I think that could be kept in check with regular mowing or trimming.

don't worry, I made the mistake of planting bamboo at my home down on Long Island, what a mistake that was.....never again.
