    take it home, hang it and take a rope, make a circle on the floor under the deer and spray it with permethrin....the ticks will drop off and never leave that circle.

    I may be wrong, but to have a finished mount scored and be entered into one of those books, it would have to be x-rayed to make sure the skull plate hasn't been altered.....doesn't sound like you have any intention of entering it into a book, but something that may be of importance to some......I'll say 130 give or take a few.

    we thought all our deer had to be at least 125-150 pounds..........until we bought a scale and started weighing them.

    at the very least call DEC and if they find it unfit for human consumption they will issue another tag.....but that's your call.

    my doe had a few things like that under the skin.....not the first time either, think it'll be fine...I ate mine without reservation.

    if it had potential, and I could get it for the full season, including turkey, I would pay the $700.00......that's a lot cheaper then buying land that could turn out to be terrible hunting, at least you can walk away when the lease is over.......

    yeah, not too mention that hunting and shooting skills are the least of my concerns when it comes to women..........

    oh, I bow hunt...the doe I described was taken with the bow. I consider myself fairly knowledgeable when it comes to deer hunting, and I do enjoy the show, but like I said, I was never really consumed with antlers.....
