and that alone is all it takes for many to say it's not worth the hassle......even if someone files a lawsuit that is unwinnable, the property owner still has to answer it and spend money to do so.
-
you may want to leave out the details about putting corn around your stand.......
-
unless a season starts on a specific date, the dates will usually change every year.....this year is by a week. http://www.dec.ny.gov/outdoor/10002.html
-
most of the the season dates are off this year......archery gets an additional week, regular season starts a week later, thus moving the muzzle loader season back a week..........or something along those lines. But I don't believe it's extended.

you get two tags that are interchangeable during the two seasons, providing you bought both.............what you get is just two tags, one either sex and one antlerless only.

what do you have to swap?

I pour a gallon of antifreeze on them and the ice, they normally fall through in a few hours. -

I tie lead weights to them and throw em in a lake....... -
thank god I'm not concerned about antlers........but, either way I think it's a sh*t deal for those who are.
-
hahaha...
-
you can walk into any gas station convenience store almost anywhere in NY and buy all the paraphernalia you need to smoke crack and weed as well........doesn't make it legal or advisable.
-
you're only problem is worrying about what others think...get past that and all is good.
-
I'm gonna go out on a limb and say guys would be pissed at any regulation that would dictate when or where they can shoot a buck.....whether it be what they just passed or if it was an earn a buck rule, nobody is gonna be totally happy no matter what the change is.
-
I think what has got many bent out of shape is just the simple fact that they may have to pass up a buck and kill does first, I'm willing to bet they would still complain no matter what plan was implemented if it in any way interfered with their ability to take a buck in any way shape or form........
-
I may be wrong, but I think that changed prior to this year.......
-
it's ok, I think guys go in thinking it'll be like shooting fish in a barrel, far from it.........but still a decent hunt and not that much of a hassle.
-
hopefully you were laying on your back by choice when you took that.......very nice.
-
no, never had to work in a department store on a sales floor, so I honestly have no idea what goes on or doesn't.............I'll get back to you if it ever comes down to that.
-
yeah, for some reason I remember being told you couldn't do that in NY........but I can't find anything stating otherwise.
-
my "if they don't care" comment meant that if they know about it and don't care and allow it, then I don't see a problem......obviously if a person is doing it and has the slightest feeling they are doing something wrong, then they probably are......which led to my other comment about how much crap they would have to buy and sell to make it even worth the risk, even if it was allowed I wouldn't even waste my time for a few bucks here and there.
-
oh, I was under the impression you couldn't do that.
-
both at the same time?
