Why would you oppose? Why do you care what other people hunt with? Did you oppose the use of compound bows over long bows? Did you oppose rifles over shotguns? A compound bow will far out shoot a X-bow anytime & aren't we hunters supposed always go for a quick, clean kill to show respect the animal? That's the way I was brought up. I don't get the opposition at all. jmo.

More news from the NYCC Bills, S1386A & S7508B have been included in the 2018 budget ! Now the NYCC needs us to call your reps. & these people asking them for their support. Coach told me I better be at practice well I took off the first day of pheasant season & got cut back to 2nd. string & never made it back to 1st so I quit & went hunting!

I have 15-17 birds coming in the yard & had 2 strutting for the last 2 weeks.

Back in my day we had to walk to school up hill both ways with no shoes! Then we would be asked if we walked to school or carried our lunch!?? wth.

I also got an e mail from Parker archery saying to contact our NY reps. to support these bills & to tell them to not let the S7508 B KKK part be taken out of the budget. This must be done in the next day or two. (Asap)

Received a new e-mail this Am for support of some new x-bow bills from NYCC. Please contact your state reps.( senators & assembly people) & tell them to support/vote for P. Gallivan's bills # S1386A & S7508 B part KKK. for full X-bow inclusion. ASAP!

A deer cart made out of 20" bike wheels & wheel barrel handles. it worked!

I do it like GreeneHunter, put them on the wheeler, drive it on the trailer & drive it down the road!. No shame, we use to hang them all over the car fenders, across the trunk lid, on top of the roof, any where they would fit. The record was 5 bucks at once on the outside of a 68 Plymouth Fury! Those were the fun good old days.

By what I have been seeing here I don't know if some of these people could handle a WNY./Buffalo winter. We can go form no snow to 6 feet in a matter of hours, have it melt & then do it all over again in the next week all winter long. But I to hate snow I always said we need 1-3" for deer season & the same for X-Mas day then be done with it! Back in the "70's" when I was snowmobiling I use to pray for snow but I was 30+ yrs. younger & must have been crazy back then!

Not to be an A-hole but after working for NYSEG for 40 yrs. as a lineman you can't believe the people that won't let you trim/cut their trees! I have had cases where people have called to get their tree trimmed & when I got there they wouldn't let me trim. We had a whole subdivision out for 8 hrs. + on a cold winters night because a property owner would not let us trim his tree. The other thing is when a tree does come down people tell us we need to cut "our tree" down , well people the power company does not have trees, they have poles & wires. Also when you plant a tree look up & see where that tree will be in a few yrs. if it will grow into the wires move it. Another thing is some one needs to be back on first & some one will be on last everyone will get a turn, rule is we started with the masses back on & then worked on the individuals . In the mean time if your power goes on & off a few times in between we are not playing games with you we are trying to be safe & save a lineman's life so they can go home to their families & kids at the end of the storm & probably won't be thought of again until your power goes off again! Remember when your home in your house even without electric somewhere there is a man hanging on a pole in the rain & snow in 10* weather in the middle of the night, putting your power back on! Think about it!

My father would ooh & aah , grunt & groan when he would get in the car to go hunting/fishing when he was 71ys.old & my brother & I would ask "what are you getting old" & he would say "you just F- ing wait!". Well I must admit he was right & I am at that point. Bad shoulders, knees & kinky neck pain WTH. this getting old is not all it's cracked up to be, but it is better than the alternative! He also use to say the only thing golden about the golden years is your p!$$ due to all the pills your on.

I was there yesterday for 2 hrs. with the grandkids! When I was in school(young) if I wasn't ice skating I was on that hill almost every night. If you walk from that hill straight out to William St. you would run into the house I grew up in as a kid.

Looks like you did a great job! I did mention to the others I was with I only saw 5 bugs all the while we were there, I couldn't get over it! lol

I tried having ammo shipped to Cabela's store & was told they can't do it because it is an internet sale even if I picked it up at the store. Stupid IMO!

I just got back from Disney on Saturday after 6 days. I could not believe how beautiful these trees & others were! We had 65-86* all week hated to leave & then land in Buffalo with rain, fog & 35* . Loved the rides, the weather, but hated the crowds & lines of people! It was my first time ever.

Sorry this has nothing to do with hunting but I am wondering if any one knows this.? Can I replace all 4 of my P 265/65R-18" tires with 4 new P255/65R-18" tires on my 2016 GMC Yukon with out messing up the vehicle computer or anything else.?? Thanks for any info.

My daughter & I both gripped to them about this & they knocked $10 a month off each bill. I liked the Sprint commercial on the super bowl & was thinking of looking at them , they said they were only 1% less than Verizon as far as reception goes across the country & cheaper. I think they might use the same towers.

I don't get it, these shootings are sickening, seeing this happening time & time again & more frequently, something needs change & soon! What is the problem & what is the solution ?
