  1. Nice shots. What cudde is that? It sure doesn't look like the Capture IR I had. Much better quality on your pics.
  2. Nice shots and bucks Brandon. I'll take a white flash cam any day over IR. I've gotten pics of bucks with my IR cams set in 4 shot burst mode that seen the initial trigger just at the edge of the flash range and never took another step closer. My white flash cams seem to catch them by surprise but relaxed. They generaly don't stick around nearly as long but I think the the sudden flash is less threatening to them than all those LED's glowing in the dark. I seriously think there has to be some audible sound to them suckers as they charge up for the next pic that gives them away. Plus the pic quallity is top notch IMO compared to IR of any brand. JMO
  3. Good point Lou. Just a shame some never had the oppertunity to have a mentor like that, or at the very least listen when one spoke.
  4. Scary stuff right there. Glad everyone escaped serious injury. Gonna feel that one for a few days.
  5. It really does pain me to see the way some are still trying to build a case for these two guys. I've decided it's simply not worth the effort to try to conform their followers and stand by my previous statement that some just lack that maturity level, but I will go one step further here and add the lack of intelligence and common sence as well. I feel that anyone who gives two hoots about the animals, hunting them, and the whole heritage of the hunting experience will lead by their own examples and pass this code of conduct along to the next generation of hunters who will be taking their places. I suspect that there are enough of us that we still stand a chance of surviving without the image of the hunt being tarnished by the handfull of incompetent bafoons that walk among us with the "look at me attitude". The age of the internet really gives these kinds a chance to get themselves on center stage for the world to see and hear when in reality only a handfull only ever care to listen. Pretty obvious even groups like these have a way of finding supporters and often are the folks we see getting banned from forums for their abnoxious outbursts and the same disrespect for other members as they have for the critters afield. Blur my friend- I believe you have just never been propperly taught respect and the way it is earned in the outdoors lifestyle and every day life. That's what we're here for, and the reason we tolerate folks like yourself to some extent. Seems the majority have a full understanding of seeing the big picture here while you walk around with your blinders on. I would have had a ball running through all the holes in your last post and disecting it sentence by sentence but I just don't have the time for that right now.

    Deer Search

With all the posts about guys getting upset finding dead deer in the woods, I'm curious how many here have ever used Deer Search and what your experience was like, good or bad? I used them 2 seasons ago. I think many others could stand to learn a thing or two from them.
  7. Wouldn't it have been great if his antlers fell off right then and there.
  8. What a coincidence....me too. 20 yrs of that crap.....LITTERALY! I did mostly residential new builds, commercial and towards the end service. Been outta work for some time now but believe I'm done with plumbing any more.
  9. I think I'd go just to see and photograph the livestock. I'd like to see how these places are managed behind the fence just for my own knowing. I can't vote in this poll with that answer though.
  10. Yes sir....it's no wonder to me why so many of us have a hard time acquiring new propperty to hunt and are looked down upon by the non hunting public. I used to take every door that got slammed in my face personaly and every woodlot that got posted solid from one season to the next where permission had already been obtained. I come to the realization it's not me these landowners don't want in there, rather just the opposite, but when it's perceived that this is the way we all act that's when we all get lumped into the same category as the slobs. The way that hunters conduct themselves afield is something I've become very adimate about for these very reasons but I've learned where to propperly point the blame. >
  11. C'mon now....a cudde would have caught that runaway goat centered in the frame frozen in mid air.
  12. Thanks to Ed posting the close out deal on another site I jumped on it as well. $3 for the unit and 25 cent pads and refill bottles. If it ever craps out on me I'll gladly pay $100 for the next one ... they work that good.
  13. I'm beginning to think there's a handful of members here who lack the maturity level to see what's wrong with this. Plain and simple......killing is the name of the game when we hunt. If you wanna carry on like a 4 year old when you get back to camp go right ahead. If you feel the need to post your childish disrespect for all to see stay the hell away from my camp. Kudos to the 2 nimrods for realising they needed to finish the animal off. To do it execution style in their white trash way was absolutely uncalled for..... as chest thumpingly manly as it was to them. : Really no point to this vid clip other than showing 2 wanna be hillbilly jack-offs begging for attention.
  14. Too cool! Good luck to you two and keep us posted on her progress. Would love to see a good antler dog work some day.
  15. Wow- I guess so WNYB,lol. I've always wondered why some areas have dogs that are so "ratty" looking. Southern dogs seem to be famous for that. Every yote I've ever seen here have appeared to be in real good condition.
  16. Some studly late season brutes.
  17. LMAO.....I caught that and got a good laugh out of it myself. I know what ya meant Karp!
  18. I don't get too many yote pics so I look forward to them every now and then. I'll be setting a carcass cam over a cow next week to see what's chewing on it.
  19. No problem skyz- I woulda shipped it to ya. Anyhow, cam has been SOLD. Thanx for looking.
  20. Not so sure they were as excited about playing with the guns as they were the deers penis. :-*
  21. I'm with ya Doc. We're getting spared the snowfall totals we're used to seeing around here while everyone else around us gets nailed. Now I just know what comes around goes around. Sure we'll see our share before all's said and done, but I'm enjoying this as long as it lasts.
  22. WOW- I've never seen one come loose. I have tried to wish a few off but that never seems to work. : Very cool experience with the buck and his shed. Would be great to catch up to him next year after that for sure!
