I was messing around today trying to come up with some funky double exposures. I've never done this before, so it was frustrating and exciting at the same time. I put together a couple I liked and am curious what you all think. Obviously I used my skulls from this season as my main subjets and then just kinda winged it from there,lol. All straight out of camera with no Photoshop involved in editing.

Watched this yearling doe skate around on the frozen creek today for at least 1/2 hour. You could tell the reward she worked so hard for didn't amount to much of a prize in the end. Every 4'th or 5'th jump she would land with a mouth full of hemlock needles before repeating the grueling process over and over again and again. She came down so hard a few times I thought for sure she was going through the ice. That's left up to the viewer to decide. Sometmes the most interesting pics are the ones that force you to use your imagination a little by combining subjects you don't usually see together. A different perspective to many average, ordinary, every day items, makes them come alive in ways we've never seen before. BTW- the smoke is from an e-cigg.

At least you guys can find the dead ones. I took a hike through an old orchard yesterday and I couldn't tell you if there was one dead deer or 30 dead deer under all this crap. It's not so bad on the packed deer trails, but they have browsed at least 3ft higher on the hemlocks and apples than they normaly would be able to reach. If anything, the massive snow totals may have saved a few deer this year around these parts by making out of reach browse available to them at this stage of winter. I didn't make it 1/2 mile deep into this crap over a couple hours before heading out the same way I came in. The walls on the deer trails are so deep you can see where their shoulders bounce off the sides as they walk along. Maybe those LI deer are just sissy's,lol!

Damn yotes need to start doing their job.

Thanks for the comments and checking them out everyone. Until the weather breaks and I can get out hiking again, this is how I'll amuse myself in my spare time. Here's a few more while we're waiting for spring.

I started out a little slow but I'm starting to get the hang of it now. I don't think I need to set this up any more than that,lol Damn it smells good in here!

No real plans yet, but I'll take pictures if I come up with something. Hmmmm...., maybe I'm planning to take pictures of whatever I don't know I have planned to take pictures of. Sounds like a plan to me! Will post pics as soon as I'm done doing whatever I'm planning on doing to show you all what I decided to do if I do anything at all.

What a fantastic Valentines Day I had! The mailman brought me my new e-cigg, and he also brought me my new camera since my other (new) one took a dump right at the last second of the warranty. I had to do a steamy photo shoot to show off my new girls curves and sparkle and get a few clicks on the cam. I've been pushing her buttons all day and finally figured out how to turn her on! Chrome- haha.... I even got some leather pants for her!

Not a chance! I don't like being out in this stuff while I'm awake..., ain't no way I'm sleeping out in it! Besides, I like to sleep in the nude and that could pose a HUGE problem if someone discovered where I pitched a tent!

That's pretty sweet! I watched nothing for a bit before the first eagle showed up and did some interior designing. Then another appeared for a while and they worked together. Then they started arguing and the girl eagle kicked the boy eagle out.... I think he'll be spending the night in his buddies nest.
