    If I am accurate and my broadheads shoot the same as my field points I am happy. I don't get too caught up in it myself.

    I do a lot of bowhunting on the ground and want a camo that blends in exceptionally well in a variety of terrains. I am not impressed with any of the big names like Realtree or Mossy Oak. Any suggestions? I have been eying ASAT and Predator.

    I believe there is some accuracy in his predictions, but like others have said I hunt every chance I get.<br /><br />I do have his "Hunting Whitetails by the Moon" book. I would recommend it to anyone interested in his theories.

    It's the opposite for me. Most gobbling I have ever heard, least amount of willingness to commit.

    Finally!!! Never had so many unsuccessful close encounters in one season without harvesting a bird.<br />Killed this one at 7:45am. Beard length is 8-1/2" and spur length on both sides was 1-1/8". <br />

    I am getting my butt handed to me out there. Never had so much trouble killing a bird!

    I had some gobbling this morning. Birds were on adjacent property. They respond frequently, but never came any closer. <br /><br />About mid morning the farmer on the land I hunt started discing the field. I am hoping the fresh earth brings the birds onto this property for the weekend.

    I am loving the Hevi 12ga 3" #7's. Great pattern out to 40 yards.

    Same here. I once shot a doe with a shotgun at about 40 yards, she was broadside. There was snow on the ground and I never found blood or hair until I found the deer. She ran about 60 yards and was hit right behind the front shoulder. I was a little shocked, but learned a valuable lesson first hand that had luckily already been taught to me.

    165's generally shoot better out of my gun than 150's. It's not a huge difference, but any little bit helps.You are going to have to find what your gun likes best. For a specific brand, I really like the Fusions.
