I understand and support common sense measures to keeping people safe, This bill is something i would go for if it saves the life of just one child, it doesn't matter to me if my guns are in a safe or a glass front cabinet, The safe will be the better bet of keeping them from falling into the hands of criminals, The way i see it is that every gun on the street was purchased legally by a resident in this country and some how maybe through no fault of their own these legally purchased weapons have gotten onto the street into the hands of criminals, If by buying safe will make my nieces and nephew that little bit safer in the future than who am i to not agree with it, JMHO

What is going on with todays turkey hunters?
wheelieman replied to noodle one's topic in Turkey Hunting
Id say its taking shots that are to far, yesterday i heard 5 shots then a minute later i heard a single, it kinda scares me -
Ok if you are coming from Newark you will want to head towards Lyons and after you go through the light at rt14 continue on rt.31 toward Clyde the next intersection take a right onto Cole rd. its the road that Siligan containers is on, Cole turns into Lyons Marengo rd, After you cross the steel bridge on your left a couple miles is River rd, It starts out paved but turns into dirt and is fairly rough but you are going to go all the way to the other end. keep your eyes open and you will see the signs for the wildlife management area, Hope this helps its easy to get to and is a great place to fish as well.

Facebook Bans Pro-gun Accounts
wheelieman replied to Elmo's topic in Gun and Hunting Laws and Politics Discussions
My account is covered with pics of guns and harvested animals plus a lot of Pro gun propaganda, I actually dont see were it is banning anything, Its a very useful site and almost all of my friends and family have accounts and are on my friends list, Its an easy way to get information for free to members of my archery club and other clubs in the Finger Lakes region as well, I use it every day but it i ever feel they are being biased i would delete my account, But until then its a great place to catch up with old friends and make new ones, To see pics of friends hunting accomplishments and family photos, I Have a brother in law in Bamberg Germany and we talk daily to each other using the messenger on facebook as well as current photos of him and his family, If you don't have an account its hard to understand the usefulness of a site like that, JMHO -
Ive been there and done some waterfowl and deer hunting, We bagged a few ducks but have never seen a turkey but then again i wasn't looking for them, The place is only 15 minutes from my house so every now and again i go out just to see whats running around, Good luck if you come in from Clyde just pass the little mennonite school those fields and woods are part of it, There should be something there, The property lines are kinda all over the place but are clearly marked so you dont run into issues with land owners,

Great mount and first buck, I bet he is as happy as can be,

Just get one, Then go to the jewler and get your wife somthing nice, When you get home introduce her to the pup and when she gets mad give her the present you got her, Nothing says im sorry like a bracelet or a necklace, maybe even a ring, It works everytime,

In order to hunt Montezuma you have to have a Waterfowl identification course, You can use a boat but have to be there at a certain time and you can only carry 15 shells with you, They welcome dogs and there is normally a lot of people hunting in the few places that they allow, Either the lake or private property is your best bet, I picked up waterfowl hunting last year and have just found a few sweet spots to hunt but its taken time and a lot of internet and door knocking to obtain permission, Good Luck to you in your search,

Ok so ive seen alot of tree stands made from different things, but this one makes me laugh everytime i see it, Its located on Pre Emption rd, in Dundee ny,
-
It is i watched that one last year go from tree to tree and it is a wonderful experience and thank Hectorbuckbuster for finding that Ive been looking and the number for the local encon officer did not transfer to my new phone,
-
If you look at the pick you would know right off that its not a regular squirrel, To shoot something that you don't know what it is couldn't you accidentally kill a endangered species or maybe even a new find a hybrid per say?
-
Im gonna call the local D.E.C officer today, But what if it is like red squirrel.snapping turtle, pigeons, woodchucks, where there is no season but you can still have them,
-
That's my point if you've never seen one, How many are there, So why shoot them? I rarely see pheasants so i don't hunt them in the wild hoping they might gain a foothold, To me it would make sense to leave them alone imho,
-
Sombody shot one of these, I dont get it, Why would you shoot one?
-
All the tax maps should be like Ontario counties, Aerial photos with property lines and all the info when you click on them,
-
