I live at the north end of Seneca Lake the geese have never stopped flying here, Every day all year long. There are so many canadians around its making me wonder why we dont have a march season for them.

Whats confusing about it, He is afraid sportsman will respond by not buying licenses and the state will take a big hit in the pocket book, He figures by lowering the fee pm licenses people will forget the Safe Act, He will deny this of course but i don't know a single outdoorsman that will support him in the next election,

Whitetail deer have always been an obsession of mine, I can remember back when i was younger and my stepfather would come home from hunting with all his brothers, I would run outside and look in the back of the truck hoping they scored that day, Then my mother and him split up and we moved but i started to explore the wilderness around my house and started getting good at finding deer, I picked up reading magazines and watching hunting shows but had to wait until i was 18 to start hunting, The first year out opening morning i climbed up into an old stand and just after legal light i heard gunshots coming from the south, A few minutes later 3 doe came running down right in front of me, I shot twice that morning and harvested my very first deer a big plump doe, That moment in life changed me inside from that second i walked up on that doe till right now whitetail deer have been on my mind i'm an addict. I have never missed an opening morning and i have gotten my younger brother and a few others into the sport, The times we have shared together in the field are times none of us will ever forget, My brothers first deer with a gun and bow, Both my stepsons first deer with gun and this year hopefully my niece and my stepdaughter will both experience that feeling you can only get by taking your first deer, That feeling is the feeling you get when you see a younger person go through the roller coaster of emotions, The look in their eyes, is unforgettable just like when i walked up to my very first deer,

I want to know Doc how is it that police are allowed to enforce something they do not understand, I'm not re writing your posts i'm just asking questions that you outlined within in them, I'm sorry if you do not understand the difference, you brought up a rocket launcher, you brought up militia, you brought up cops being hurt on the job, I just merely asked you questions as to why, Why is it that i cannot have the same fire power that the police do, why is it ok for the police to enforce laws that they do not understand, Why is it unless i agree with you im a neanderthal, I do not want cops to be hurt I, I want the police to have to live by the same laws that i do, the same laws they are enforcing, and not comprehending, I personally would hope as an individual a police officer has to make a choice to support by enforcing laws they do not understand or refuse to support them by not enforcing them, Yes i know as a police officer they do not get to choose what laws they enforce, But as a citizen nobody is making them stay and do a job that they do not agree with, There is a big difference between doing their duty and going against what to them is morally wrong, Police are like firemen the majority do it because they want to make a difference they want to help, On The 28th of this month there is a rally in Albany i'm going to be there to support the cause in a peaceful manner, we were asked not to bring firearms so i will not, I believe this can be resolved without violence i believe that we can make a difference but in the meantime why not support the manufacturers who refuse to do business with the state,, But too want the police to understand what they are enforcing is not too much to ask for, I actually believe its their duty to know what they are enforcing, When there is a law that is placed on the books its a police officers job to enforce that law regardless if they agree with it, That is the reason why people are attacking the police, After all a law that is not enforced is a law that should not have been written to begin with, If the police all stand together and refuse to enforce this law it can be changed the government cannot fire the entire police force of New York. They would have to listen to what they have to say and right the wrongs, That's why if the police take the side of the people and stand by us in this fight then yes we will win, If not then all of are rights are as good as gone, We need the police to do what is right for the people not what is right for themselves, I'm not saying quit their jobs i'm saying stand up for what they believe, jjb 4900 The police are the first line in the defense of laws, They are the ones hired to enforce them,They are the ones people see everyday, They are the ones who will be kicking in doors and taking your guns, The politician in Washington or Albany will not be knocking on my door asking me to please hand over of my rights,"GUNS" That is the reason people are looking at cops like they have something to do with the law, And i'm not afraid of my firearms being taken yet but it will happen and it will happen sooner than you think and when it does it will be the police at 2 am kicking in our doors to take them not the politician who is home sleeping under the protection of the same firearms we are being stripped of the right to posses. You are putting the law above everybody that's not how it should be yes their job is dangerous but they choose to be police, They were not unwillingly appointed to the position they were not born into a class of police, They are people like you and i and they know what the job entails, Yes they should have the most modern up to date weapons they can get, But as a law abiding citizen so shouldn't I, This whole topic is about people standing up for what they believe in and if it means that the people who choose a profession that is dangerous cannot get something they need maybe just maybe the people in charge will see this and over turn an unjust law, The reaction from gun manufacturers is fine by me, We all are citizens of this state No one law abiding person is better than another, police,gas station attendant, truck driver, teacher, it doesn't matter we all should be able to choose what we want to carry for hunting or self defense, I'm sorry that you believe that a badge makes them some kind of royalty that needs to be above the general public, They are the general public, You sit there and put down the right to form a militia, you can bring up a terrorist who used a bomb not a fire arm, That's fine but you still have not given me one good reason i shouldn't have the same firearms the police are entitled to carry, And yes if an officer of the law is giving an order to carry out that they believe to be unconstitutional then yes they should quit that is their obligation to the oath that they took to uphold the constitution of the State and this Country, My job does not require me to make such decisions but if it did paycheck or not i would quit,

Who was bashing the police, I just think that its wrong that they can carry to "defend the people" but i'm not allowed to carry to defend myself, Its the leaders of this state and country that i'm having a problem with, I have family who currently hold the position of Under Sheriff and several others in law enforcement positions as well as more than a few good friends who are police, I want nothing bad to happen to them and i hope when the time comes to decide where their loyalties lie to the people or the government i just hope they choose whats right not whats financially motivating, The only way this very unjust law is gonna get overturned is if enough people in this state hate it enough to continue to be vocal and stand up for their rights, If they strip are 2nd amendment rights what other rights will they try and take or twist to fit their needs, That's why this is so important, Ya losing the guns sucks but the rest of our rights are at stake as well, They are something i will not sit by and watch be stripped from me or any other citizen, JMHO.

Ya Doc because god forbid anything happening to an authority figure, Every things is fine as long as they can defend themselves but its screw the rest of New York's population, I hope every gun manufacturer joins in and black balls every agency that has anything to do with the government, If we cant have them then why do they need them, After all law abiding citizens are not gonna be causing the problems anyway and criminals don't have guns and obey every law right, I understand they are doing their jobs but if they stand up and enforce this law then morally they are as corrupt as our governments politicians, With out law enforcement our government cannot enforce these laws, And those officers who have sworn to uphold the constitution of the the state of New York and the United States of America are obligated to not follow any order that would infringe our rights given to us by the blood and deaths of our forefathers, So to me If these companies want to black ball the government then good for them, It actually puts a smile on my face that people our standing up for our rights,, That and police are not above the law supposedly so why should the be exempt,

Sounds to me Doc that you are a "I'm gonna lay down and get trampled by the government type of guy", This country wouldn't be this country if it wasn't for people becoming criminals and standing up for what they believe in, I was personally there but i have read in the history books of our fight against a tyrannical government called England AKA the Crown every person who resisted at that time was committing treason, This Country was founded on the fact that the people will not lay down and get mowed over by their government and in the Constitution we were given rights to be able to do so again, That's is why we as firearm owners need to stand up against this. The fact that you fear are government is ridiculous that is another reason we have a constitution, So i say you can hide in the corner and hope this all blows over or you can do what we all have the RIGHT to do and stand up against this tyrant we call government. I use one for waterfowl hunting, Every now and then when i fired the round in the chamber the 2nd round, waiting in the magazine would kick out and fall on the ground, It only did it with 31/2" shells, I had to cut down the plug a little and haven't had the problem since, I love the gun 31/2bb out of a modified choke is absolutely deadly, Ive never tried shooting more than 3 shells out of it, I got it put in the plug and put the slug barrel in the cabinet, I just know that its almost identical to the 500 in the parts and assembly only difference i see is everything is just a little longer,

labs for sure, as long as you stop any negative behavior as soon as it comes out you shouldnt have a problem, Even a little growl put an end to it fast
