  1. pulling on the release assuming your shooting fingers maybe not consistent with your anchor or your twisting your wrist, It could be your limbs are twisting one way or another mark your string and your limb so the string goes back the same way every time,
  2. I called him the big six, But my niece Alexis said he looks like a Stanley so his new name is Stanley lol
  3. Winchester 30-30 with a 170gr, boat tail, if i can find them,
  4. Put up a fence, For some reason i have a neighbor who thinks its ok to plant trees half on my property and half on his, Then he will mow all the way up to my garden that is 20ft inside my line, its annoying for sure, It Is kinda funny to see how pissed he gets when i trim the tree branches hanging on my side, He called the cops once but not much they can do seeing as the trees are half on my property,
  5. Relax Doc, You have 7 rounds to protect yourself and your family!!!!!

  10. Maybe a phone call would work better, The one problem i had with one of their trail cams was resolved quickly with a phone call,
  11. Im not worried about getting hurt and if i did i wouldnt go back on the farmer, As far as muscles go, well ive been hitting the gym 6 days a week and slamming protein shakes, im in pretty good physical shape, Its the whole some things are better earned than recieved for free, This farm has a private lake so to speak and a huge hardwoods swamp that hasnt dried up in years, I wont be hunting deer on it, I have a lease for that but waterfowl is what im interested in, This farm is about a mile North of one of the fingerlakes and the birds hit it hard all year long, They come into his fields like tidal waves wiping out small villages, The Hardwood swamp is loaded with ducks, I ts literally a waterfowlers heaven, And the only way to hunt on it is by doing chores and it keeps the number of hunters down to just a few, I was just interested in how many people would bust their ass for a chance at hunting a place like this, I can deer hunt it and i like his managment Strategy, Since this farmer has taken over the farm the deer population has exploded in the area and the number and quality of deer has been improved ten fold to what it was 10 years ago,
  12. 2013 hyndai tuscan, just rolled 11,500 The seats fold down and a deer fits in the back plus enough ground clearance for me to get in into the fields,
  13. Ok so how many of you work off your right to hunt on a farmers land, I just spent the last 2 weekends throwing hay bails around and let me tell you i feel it, Not to mention just offered to help with feeding the cows,
  14. I have moultrie and wild game, all of them work great, the only stealth cam i ever bought i gave away and the guy gave it back about a month later!!! He said it wasnt worth the hassle l0l
  15. slow going tomatoes are getting their first blossoms but everything else is stunted due to the cold weather,
  16. This is Daisy getting ready for her first hunt challenge,
  17. Abortion should be a right of the woman/ Family involved, As well as being able to take ones own life, We live in a country where we say we are free but we are far from it, I just don't care if a woman chooses to abort a fetus, Or keep it, Its not mine or anybody else's decision to make except the mother, I think that everybody should just shut up mind their business and go on with their own lives, Protesting at a clinic that offers a service that has to be hard for a woman to choose to have already is inappropriate. To have people complain about the terms of the abortion is just as crazy, who are we to decide whats good for another person, Sick, healthy, i dont care its not my business its theirs, Its should be a right that is not infringed upon, And if old Johny down the road is of sound mind and still would like to end his life why should i care, Its not my business, Pay up front and good luck JMHO
  18. If you can a strip of corn, a strip of beans, and a strip of clover, works well and seems to hold deer all year, I just wouldn't hang a stand over it, just hunt a 100 yds between it and the bedding area,
  19. you have to band them tight with Steele bands, Ive never seen a shoot through on the bails at my archery club,
  20. if you use hay you have to band the bails real tight with steel banding, they last awhile if done right,
  21. I just don't get coyote or not that some people think that its ok to kill the "scourge of the woods" when ever the feel like it. It really is irresponsible to do that unless life or property are actually in danger, I don't cherish one animal over the other, Coyotes are a predator they need to eat too, Its amazing that some people will complain about people shooting after or before legal shooting hours, Or point fingers at trespassers but find it "OK" to shoot a coyote out of season, If you cannot shoot a deer before legal hours why is it ok shoot a coyote in New York in May, double standards are the reason we as sportsman are constantly fighting amongst ourselves instead of uniting as a whole to ward off laws such as the SAFE ACT, Or putting the truly bad people in jail, Coyote, deer, turkey, goose, duck, squirrel, does it really matter the act of taking wild game out of season is still POACHING any way you look at it, A person who knowingly shoots a coyote out of season is the same level of douche bag that would shoot a whitetail buck at night with the aide of a spot light from a motor vehicle. In my opinion wrong is wrong, What kind of lesson are we as responsible gun owners and hunters teaching kids if we teach them its ok to only follow the rules that we feel are necessary and all the rest are bullshit, For once it would be nice to see parents step up and teach right from wrong. Not if you don't like it, Its not right, How many people reading this think that the youth of today are out of control, How many people reading this believe that its the fault of the parents, Now how many of you think that its ok to teach your kids that killing coyotes out of season is right and ill show you where the problem starts, Wildlife laws are there to protect the animals, To ensure that future generations can love or hate the animals we have around us every day, If we kill all of the coyotes what has that taught the next generation that they can target and kill whatever animal they believe to be a "SCOURGE OF THE WOODS" I thought that as a educated society, A understanding society that we all would have learned from our past mistakes and would strive for a better future for everybody not just your whitetail deer, or your cotton tail rabbit, or whatever animal you believe to be better than some dumb coyote, Look at some species of animals that we will never see due to barbarick thinking of our past generations like, Like the Tasmanian Tiger,Quagga,Passenger Pigeon,Golden toad,Caribbean Monk Seal,Pyrenean Ibex,Javan Tiger, Bubal Hartebeest, There are more, But hey they have nothing in common with that nasty little coyote running through your back yard, right, Maybe they all had more in common than you think, Just sayin Poaching is Poaching, Theodore Roosevelt noticed the problem and decided it was time to do some thing about it, Here is a good quote from him.“Do Something Now. If not you, who? If not here, where? If not now, when?” ~ Theodore Roosevelt, Its up to us to fix the problem not to leave it for our children or our children's children, Can any of you imagine having a conversation with your grand children about hunting and have them not understand because they don't know or have never heard of the animals you hunted, To me that's heart breaking,
  22. I live at the north end of seneca lake and we have eagles all over the place, you can see them daily flying over my house and there is a nesting pair at the end of my road, With good glass you can see the babies in it and watch they parents fly back and forth with fish and other animals, Last night there was one flying over head just over the tops of the trees,
  23. I guess im lucky to live 5 mins. from the depot and can see them all the time, Im fine and the extra arm that grows out of my neck is usefull for holding the binos and driving, Wish it would tan up though its as white as those deer,
