I dont do any of this kind of stuff, I wash my face with head and shoulders shampoo, i use alot of lotion, during deer season (i have psoriasis) i dont wear deoderant, I keep my hunting clothes in a big plastic bin, With those scent wafers, I dont wash them, my hunting boots have never touched pavement, i use the fresh earth cover up spray and then douse myself with doe pee when i get to my stand, Havent been busted since i started doing this, I have deer come in down wind all the time, Im thinking that its because i smell so bad that deer think there is no way a human can smell that bad lol, But hey it works for me, My brother, my buddy wing, and my buddy jason, All of us do the same thing and never have issues, To each his own but we swear by it,

well finally got ahold of the landowner of where the buck went and he gave me permission to go look, we found really good blood today and im hoping he isnt to far away from where we stopped tracking, Only thing is the landowner didnt call me back until 7:30 tonight, Deer search still hasnt called me back, I know i will never call them again, Im glad i got permission to go look i just hope it doesnt rain, I dont believe the meats any good anymore, But i still would like to have the rack, Thanks if i find him ill post pics

Well no luck yet and The deer search people haven't called me either, So tomorrow ive got a bunch of buddies coming out to help look we are going to line up and walk the entire property,

I got out of my stand this morning and decided to take a walk thru the corn, But as i was headed to the corn field i noticed a good buck at the end of the hay field, So i decided to see if i could stalk him, I got to within 40 yds Waited for the broad side shot, put my forty on him and released, the arrow hit him in the front leg but pinned it to his chest and the only thing sticking out was the fletching, He took off running the arrow broke in half and the broad head is destroyed the front half was laying where i hit him, The fletch end was laying 20 yds away and that was covered in blood, But as for sign i cant find any and then it rained, I called deer search i hope they get ahold of me soon, Sorry to wine on here just needed to vent,

Ontario county and Seneca county are showing signs, Bucks chasing. doe's bedding in the wide open and little bucks running everywhere,

Vacation starts today at 4:30 and will go threw monday the Monday the 11th, Then im off Thanksgiving week as well, In my area its still slow nothing really happening yet, but it will soon and i plan on being in one of my trees,

Late? Its the prerut looks like deer are starting to get in the mood and you might find a doe or 2 in heat already, But just like every year for the last ten, My vaca is scheduled so i can have the 5th thru the 12th off, Best time to be in the woods to watch big bucks, IMHO

I once had a guy tell me, That there is no difference between bucks and boys, They all like the smell just some havent matured enough to wait until the can get a taste,

I live very close to that area and i hunt those swamps lol, i know the buck your speaking of, And yes he is very nice, A couple good ones in the area too, see them in my buddies beans all the time,

i have the wild game inn. one and i still swap cards but then when i got home if the cam was picking up weeds moving or something id have to go back and fix the problem, now i just check in the field and saves alot of time

My niece and i will be hunting this weekend, With that said Im taking her hunting with a gun this year and i like the fact that the deer arent all riled up, She will have the chance to harvest a deer that hasnt been running or been spooked 100 times, She can catch them when they are relaxed and still on a pattern, But i also agree that they shouldnt need a special weekend, But as long as they do why not get the kids out when its a little warmer and more comfortable for them, Trying to make it an enjoyable thing sounds legit, A freezing kid not seeing anything for hours isnt a happy memory its a bad one, Again i dont think its a necessary thing, but i guess it could be a good thing, Im not even worried about her shooting "MY" buck lol if she does good for her, I asked my niece if she wanted to hunt she said yes took both her gun and bow course, And is super excited about going, Im just glad i can be in her life and will get to experience her first deer kill with her,

Im taking my niece hunting for the youth hunt this weekend and until them im staying out of the area i hunt because last night they were filing out of the woods right in front of the ground blind we will be sitting by, And If Saturday night is anything like the last 2 nights she should be able to get a deer to come within shooting range with out a problem,

Trail cameras make it easier for me to identify an animal i would like to try and harvest, its easier waiting for a big buck if there is one on cam, Some people hunt for meat, i choose to hunt for the sport, just because i have a monster buck on camera doesnt mean i will see him in the woods during legal hunting hours, Trail cameras also make easy to let that 100" 8 point walk because you know there is a bigger one in the woods, Its about the hunt, Finding, patterning and being able to hunt in the limited amount of time we young guys have to hunt in, Honestly if i had to choose between venison and beef im picking beef every single time, Seeing as thats the case why not match wits with a true monarch of the woods, To harvest a mature whitetail is difficult, To do it regularly is skill, Anybody can go shoot a deer, It takes patience knowledge and skill to harvest THE deer, just sayin, Ill use my cams and harvest the deer i choose with some luck every year, You can fill your freezer with what ever walks by thats your choice and yes you might get a big deer every now and again, But i want a big deer every year, My money My tag My time My choice,

trail cams serve their purpose, just dont check them to much once every 3 weeks or so depending on where they are, and i never associate hunting cover scents with trail cams, but thats just me, if im scouting i walk threw the woods talking and throwing a stick for my dog, but i never creep threw and try to be sneaky with my cover scents, to me just getting up and going is no different than kids or the farmer working in the woods, i think the deer can tell the difference between whats danger and whats not, jmho the rest is up to you to figure out its called experiance

ok after further examination i have come to the conclusion the the creature you seek to identify is a rare flying terradactal skeeteropatimus, although poisinous they are rarely seen by people and they only eat the infamous yetti, So i have determined that if you set a trap for the yetti you will be able to with out question be able to capture it, I heard they taste like chicken, but not regular chicken but like the kind you buy at walmart, just sayin, hope it helps.

i kinda like the squirrels, a few years back my buddy and use back packs and they hang on the side of the tree, we had a squirrel climb in to the back packs dont know if it was the same one or not but it was entertaining to see it do that,

so i just got back from talking with the farmer he still refuses to take money but i am fixing his brakes and helping with the fence repair later on today, Also found out who offered him the most money and the guy is an outfitter, But he still isnt gonna take him up on it, he found out that the guy wanted to bring random strangers out and let them hunt, And the the landowner said to me " its not right that this guy wants to make a killing off of me and do it with people i dont even know" He then said that he likes the way my brother and i handle his property and thats just not going to change, so load off of my mind but ive already bought the guy a new welder seeing as his shit the bed and ill be bringing it to him later on,

i was in court one time for a traffic ticket and there was atleast 10 people in front of me who all were there for failure to report, The fine was pretty big too dont remember the amount, All of the guys had dropped their deer off at a butcher thats how they got caught, it only takes a minute or 2 online why not do it, Ive reported every deer ive ever shot, Im mean really back in the day all you had to do was drop the tag in the mail box and people couldnt do that either, Its a case of just being lazy or your hiding something, But i think the most common summons should be shooting before or after legal hours,

He is still refusing the money from us, My sister in law works for his wife and i gave her the check to give him today, She said he doesnt want it and he ripped it up, But then said he will see us sunday morning to do his brakes on his truck,
