Patent for Hunting Product?
moog5050 replied to BizCT's topic in Hunting Gear Reviews and Gear Discussions
Good idea Biz but wouldn't something like this be even easier for quick removal to shoot. I am sure there are other ground bow holders https://ads.midwayusa.com/product/864259/hme-archers-ground-stake-bow-holder-with-arrow-ring-steel-green?utm_medium=shopping&utm_source=google&utm_campaign=Archery+-+Bow+Storage+and+Stands&utm_content=864259&cm_mmc=pf_ci_google-_-Archery+-+Bow+Storage+and+Stands-_-HME-_-864259&gclid=EAIaIQobChMI5MGc8cz71gIVSCaGCh0kMgLXEAQYASABEgLkQfD_BwE -

Patent for Hunting Product?

Biz has no idea. Just stirring the pot. Why would he ask legal advice from a bunch of hunters when he works at a NYC mega firm. Lol or perhaps he doesn't trust the advice of his employer. -
You can tag 7 if you get 4 dmps and more if dmps are signed over to you. Someone will correct me if I am wrong but you can use both bow/mz tags in either season but the either is anterless only in mz.
-
Bow/mz includes an either and anterless.
-
That was my initial reaction until I looked closer. lol
-
No scrape there.
-
Really good yearling I think
-
Last Sunday I did just that but not by choice. lol
-
Another shooter showed at 7:38 am Dave. You might just tag out in old WNY. lol Although this property has been a desert until last night.

Almost a twin. Good eye Zeek. Same property.
-
Good luck buddy! Make your first mount of 2017 your own.

Do deer like black walnuts?
moog5050 replied to Gencountyzeek's topic in Land Management, Food Plots and QDM
I don't think deer prefer them or eat them at all. I could be wrong. -
I have had the most success in the early morning, but certainly have seen "mature" bucks from 10-2. Strangely I have yet to have any late day experiences with older bucks and that is when many claim to be the best odds. I guess I just need a few more years under my belt to see that.
-
Actually, you look just like the photo in person. lol
-
Biz your wife is way more photogenic.
-
It's a relative. Lol. 90lbers are easy but not 30 rep easy.
-
Just a thought Larry, whenever my shoulders start bothering me, I do low weight high rep dumbbell military presses. Sets of 30 reps. Gets lots of blood in there for heeling. Not sure if it would work for ortho issues but if it's a muscle issue, it should help. Get well buddy.

Had that shot yesterday at 12yds on the biggest buck I have had in range. Didn't shoot. Still debating whether I should have. Likelihood is that it would have been a dead deer but in the moment I didn't shoot. With the recurve IMO that would be a high risk shot. Not as much with my compound. But I still didn't shoot.
-
I wouldn't. Then again even with my 82lb compound I didn't take that shot.
-
Good call tacks. Never considered that.
-
I use the 210 g standard non vented but may try some xxl at some point. They hold an edge like a benchmade knife. Could probably use them several times without resharpening but I touch em up.
-
Rage are one and done from compound. German kinetic silver flame are resharpened and used again. Lost one BH tuning this year. Expensive shot.
