Get to truck and sure enough 80yds away doe crosses rd and heads up to the stand I sat. Lol. My buddy is running to try to cut her off at pass while I drink coffee.

Sounds like a great set up. Can you shoot over the bushes (whats the plan)? I assume wind prevents it but sitting in the corn with some lanes may work too.

Fun hunt. 4 bucks. 3 doe. 3 not sure as they were about 80yds away in thick cover. 1/2 rack chased 2 doe in front of stand into deep part of creek. It was amusing.

Yep. Too hard of a drag on a Thursday night unless it has big antlers. I passed the doe stands heading in. Plopped in the thick stuff

I have no study to confirm but my experience suggests that KE is less important that momentum. My trad bows easily pass through and have lousy KE in comparison to any compound. But they have good or better momentum compared to compounds primarily due to the use of 600-700g arrows.
