  1. My 8yr daughter wants in this afternoon. Going to be fun
  2. Lol. Grunted, bleated coughed, threw sticks and finally after laughing and yelling it got up and bolted. Turns out neighbor did not shoot the shooter. Got spooked. Shot a buck with him. We found him.
  3. Buck bedded 30yds away. Want to go to breakfast. Not a shooter. Bust him out or no? Afraid he may tell his big brothers. Lol
  4. I think that means you two are now dating.
  5. Nice to be out seeing deer. Never picked up the bow but lots of activity. Great opener.
  6. Fun morning. We scaled down the side of a mountain and crossed a creek in the dark just to enter from the best side of property. Buddy has one of our shooters in front of him for a while sparring with another good buck but out of range. Doe come in and drags them off property and my buddy watches neighbor shoot the big boy. Neighbor is not a good neighbor either. Feel bad for my buddy. Had high hopes for him this morning. Still early. I had a 2yr old and doe stop by
  7. I think eye dominance is the big factor. You can learn to shoot either way. People make the switch due to eye dominance typically. Would you hold more steady? No idea.
  8. I think he did. There was Subaru going about 25mph with its blinker on for a good 4 miles on the expressway near Webster yesterday. As I passed it, I noticed the driver had a fireman's helmet on.
  9. Anyone can kill em shooting straight Dan. I am working on the more challenging boomerang shots!
  10. Thanks Dan. And good luck to all! Look forward to the stories and photos!
  11. No doubt more time practicing is better and this is definitely late even with a compound.
  12. I hesitate to agree with Gman because it's much better to be shooting more often and earlier but I do agree you can become reasonably proficient with a compound pretty quickly. Fingers and no sight changes the equation dramatically.
  13. 49lbs on the curve and 82 on the compound
  14. Weather seems to be moving them this morning. Stay right there! Be there in 24hrs. Lol
  15. Yep welcome aboard. Good season to you as well.
  16. Won't happen but if it wasn't a baby, it's getting an arrow. Love to try me some bear meat.
  17. X2. At times thermals and feature currents will confirm you can sit areas that you would not think based on predominate wind and vice versa. Milkweed is great for seeing it in action.
  18. I am amazed that the string did not release off the grooves. Maybe he was just trying to make due with a left handed bow.
  19. congrats. First one is the hardest. They come easier after that!
  20. Who is this directed at? I thought you like all the extra neck meat!
  21. And you will probably kill a slammer! Just your style. Maximum return on investment. Lol. That stand is comfy!
  22. Too cold for hunting. Going to get some ATV time doing donuts around Nomads stand. Since deer are accustomed to these sounds, shouldn't bother Larrys hunt a bit. Good luck to all!
