  1. Cant go wrong with a quality .22 or a .17 rifle. Ruger 10/22 is pretty much a classic if you want a semi auto. Although I must say that i have taken a few with an air rifle and they are deadly on rabbits.
  2. That's awesome! I always loved spotting fawns.
  3. I went out today and dint hear a single gobble! Couldn't find much sign except for some scratching. Seasons over for me...on to striper fishing.
  4. No worries! Hopefully he'll be there tomorrow and you'll get to him before the dog gets there. Did he see the note?
  5. I actually curios if you were hunting public or private. Not sure why you thought I was going to give you the spiel. Unfortunately these are the things that happen on public land. One thing that is going for you, is that the deer and turkey are used to that.
  6. According to his last post he's pretty busy.
  7. Ive heard the same thing about the beans but I have never done it. I believe you can order seeds online if you want.
  8. Hunting on Sunday and then a picnic on Monday.
  9. What time would you use the crow call? I was always told a crow call was to be used after the sun has come up.
  10. I loved these videos when I first saw them! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Trout season

I believe so. If it has a double row of teeth, then it is in the char family. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. I've used mint and did the same thing with garlic. Seems to work fine with mosquitoes. Better luck next time.
  13. Goes to show that there a crazy people in every circle. Oh and zero of what papist posted holds any value with this thread.
  14. I hope this continues to next week!
  15. This is just stupid. I understand that they don't want people fishing for rare/threatened fish, but I never liked that they don't want people fishing for a fish that is out of season.
  16. X2 on the Irish spring. I heard you can break it up into 4 pieces and lasts for about a month or two.
  17. Congrats meat! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. Congrats! Can't wait to see the pics. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. From what I learned in class, the problem with fracking is that no one knows what's going to happen when you shoot high pressure water. It could work well or it could be a horrible disaster. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. They are but I don't believe they pose a threat to the ecosystem. They are highly prized by the locals. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. Congrats on tagging out! Strutting hen must have been pretty awesome. You going to put a picture up?
  22. Why didn't you get the bees grow? Seem like a great thing to have on your property, even if your not interested in the honey. I plan on getting a hive or two when I get a piece of property. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. I've only been out once but I didn't hear a thing. I came in late so maybe that had something to do with it. I did see more scratching then I have ever seen before. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. That's odd. Like you said, you would think that the bird weights would be down but I guess not. Maybe you had a really good acorn crop last year and they got really fat on those. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
