Happy Birthday!

I usually start in August. I usually go off previous years observations during the season since I don't live too close to where I hunt.

If you like that sort of thing, youd love exploring the old castles that dot my part of Europe. Enjoy Rome though! -

The only thing I really liked about Rome was the Vatican. I'd go to Rome just to see that again. Although you've fair I was only there for 6 hours and didn't get to see all that much. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

It is called the golden coast for a reason. You've never seen crystal clear sea water till you've been to the golden coast of Croatia down to northern Greece. If we're ever in Europe at the same time, your more then welcome to swing by if you'd like. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

Looks amazing! Looks very similar to where im from Just across the sea in Montenegro. Have fun -
Doing some research of my own has not turned up very much either. I did how ever see they have a high tannin level which would not be the best for deer. But if they're free why not? What do you have to lose. At the very least you could cut it down later for firewood. Its a fairly uncommon tree so I doubt many have much experience with it.
-
Just cut down a tree in my yard on Sunday after turkey hunting. Let me tell you, its not east to do in NYC. Your better off paying someone to do it if you are worried about where its going to fall.
-
Im sure deer will eat it. Look up the tanin levels of it. If its less than white oak then you have a winner.

Well I'm all done for the season. Hear my last gobble at 6:15 and saw my last turkey around 8 when I called a hen to 5 yards. I had my best season so far and punched my tag on my best bird yet! I'm already excited for next year and I'm planning on getting a slate call. My crystal call was sounding kind of off the last couple times out and I couldn't even get a gobbler to respond to it. Figured that I was able to condition towards the end of my hunt. Either way I'm more than happy with my season. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

Well the hens went straight to the gobblers. They were pretty close for a little, but they've shut up since 6:15 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

Looks like a great haul! I actually enjoy using circle hooks and prefer them to J hokos for many applications.

Now if you guys are mainly concerned about the language he used and if it was appropriate enough for tv, then I can agree with you. It was not the most appropriate thing to say, but I do believe language like that is allowed at that hour. At that hour I personally don't mind that kind of language since we're all adults and can decided whether or not we will use that kind of language and whether or not we will watch it. I also believe in freedom of speech which is why I don't mind it. I actually think it's important for youth to see people speaking out against someone they don't like. Now I also believe that we should have respect for the currents president no matter how much you may dislike him. I don't really like trump all that much, but I really don't go around trashing him because he is our president now and we have to look somewhat unified. Being able to voice an opinion about politics is another thing that makes the US great. Trump certainly was not shy about voicing his opinions about past presidents as well.
