  1. Test is pretty accurate, and yes there are 2 antibiotic cycles you can take. A 10 day and a 1 day cycle. The one day is pretty strong so it can have some side effects. It is usually not needed as long as the tick has not been attached for 24 hours, but many time people take the cycle as a precaution.
  2. Sounds great to me! I appreciate it.
  3. I haven't been driving for all that long, so I still tend to watch the road more then the fisherman lol. If you ever decide to go fishing sometime in the next month in a half I certainly wouldn't mind joining a more experienced trout fisherman if you wouldn't mind that is.
  4. Must have been a nice fish in order for you to see it when your driving.
  5. Appreciate it! I knew there was no kill section, but not exactly where.
  6. I was also thinking about hitting them all since they are all close to each other. Especially the willowmac and beaferkill. Maybe ill see you out there one day!
  7. Im new to fly fishing and I was wondering where would you suggest I go first...the Neversink, the Beaverkill or the Willowemoc? I wont be able to get our until i finish up my exams in late may, if that might change things. I was thinking the beaverkill or Willow since they stock it heavily and could use as many dumb fish as I could get while I'm starting out. I'm planing on going to some fly shops and asking them, but I thought why not ask here as well. I also wouldnt be apposed to hitting some streams in westchester and putnum county.
  8. Only thing im scared of in the woods are ticks
  9. All the streams in the Hudson Valley are high and mudddy as of today!
  10. What these two guys said is spot on. The bird I got last week fell because he was following a hen that walked 25 yards next to my blind, and the 4 gobblers I saw at 45 yards today were strutting around a group of 6 hens. No better decoy than a real hen!
  11. All I have is a crystal pot call from primos i believe. I'm thinking about getting a slate call this summer from David Halloran or someone local to the Hudson Valley.
  12. Just had 10 birds (4 gobblers) wall about 45 yards away while fighting. What an experience. Got a video of all the gobbling Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Make that at least 5 birds in different directions Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. In the blind now. Heard at least 3 birds in 3 different directions. One sounds pretty close, but I'd think all are with in 300 yards Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Congrats! Looks like that tail fan is a bit messed up.
  16. Congrats on her first bird! One thing I find interesting is with lead they always flop around a bunch, but with the hevi-shot i use they maybe flop a few times maximum.
  17. I used to think that as well, but as i got a little better at turkey hunting I started seeing them more. I know some people that are successful at turkey hunting using a tree stand, but most don't. I think the main reason is not wanting to get shot spread through out the breast, and it also being a little easier to pick you out in a stand. As fat as question 2, I think Ive had slightly more luck with out decoy's than Ive had with them, but they both can cause birds to hang up. Just find a way you like to hunt, because both ways are deadly.
  18. Its been consistently getting less and less views each season. I was surprised it made it as long as it did to be honest. I liked the show, but they constantly made the same political jokes which made it some what annoying.
