heard the QAD's are good, heard they have a built in brake system that does not allow the rest to bang back up and tap the arrow during the release... -
does your bow fit you properly noodle?? if you are off by and inch on your draw or even a half inch while shooting a D-Loop it may be enough to throw you off and cause some discomfort in your anchor...

yeah i hate guys that throw numbers out like that... i shot a true 14 point, 7 on both sides... not a typical rack but a 14 point none the less

if you can do it more power to you. Normal guys shooting out to 30 yards would have to be out of their bird to try and shoot that distance but guys shooting 60 yards prob practice around 80 yards.... there are guys that shoot those distances with their bows better then guys do with the gun. I dont think it sends a message to anyone saying well that guy on TV shot 60 i can do it also, BUT you never know. conditions would have to be right also to try a shot like that (wind and obstacles from the hunter to the deer).

im with you greg, i dont know where they come up with it at all... i got turned down in 8W which i am bummed about, they are HIGH this year in 8W as they are every other year... i remember a few years in a row i got double DMPs. Not sure why i got turned down we are loaded with does up by me. Idid get my DMP for long island, i would be shocked if i got denied that... lol

welcome aboard, im from suffolk. hunt out east and upstate...

welcome aboard... your best bet is to check with DEC if you new to the area and if you get time i would study some aerials of potential properties check them out for yourself and get the permission you need to hunt that land if its private or check out state land spots...

geez bubba that was alittle harsh lol. magnum you will have to apply next year, its about the only thing you can do. It doesnt sound like your area is high for DMP's so you just have to roll with the punches...

im sure it happens alot and i want to know how the DEC pin point this kind of stuff. i give alot of credit to the DEC but i am sure there is alot of stuff the DEC over looks or has calculations that are wrong as well. they dont have an easy job with all these type of things but really wonder how they come up with some things...
