On the 4th we had a nurse here at the house who works in the covid unit for the largest hospital system in this area , they have NOBODY in their unit , so plenty of beds here .

I’m in agreement ,although I do make it through the long games . I have a newspaper from an 13 inning game in St Louis ,that I was at in the mid ‘70s, they called it a 3 1/2 hour marathon ! If the Cards kneel, I can easily find other ways to spend my money and time .

I simply made an appointment online for drive up testing ,no signs or symptoms, or Dr required .

Ya there was this old dude ,worked out around 6 Am, big Syracuse fan ,always wore their shirts ,he walked on a treadmill in front of me . One day he stuck his pinky finger in his ear worked it around ,pulled it out and wiped it off on the side rail of the treadmill . I was fairly “ clean “ up,to,that point , after that I stepped up my game ., and I hope Syracuse loses every game .

Wtf , 60 game season and the Cards play 13 against American League teams ? Who made up this sh!t ? I don’t give a crap about KC, Detroit or the White Sox . Looks like I’ll be in Pittsburgh mid Sept .

Hum and I was the guy at the gym who for years sprayed down equipment before and after I used it, washed my hands in the mens room when I was ready to leave , opened the door with my shoulder , and washed my hands again at home , and thought wearing a “ mask “ ie any piece of cloth was not very effective.

Oh, well I’m one of those guys . After 30 years I couldn’t draw my bow anymore . Bought an xbow , didn’t kill a deer the first year , last year I bought an Elite compound off JeremyK that I can draw, used that last year ,then a bit into xbow season grabbed my Xbow as I figured I haven’t killed one with it yet . Killed a ten point at 20 yards , five yards short of my all,time longest bow kill . IDk any shot 20 and under is easy, with either imho . First year ‘88 a single brass pin, flipper rest, shooting fingers , killed a buck at 8 yards , next year ,spike at 10 yards ( I kept records back then ) and on and on . The challenge is not the shot, it’s having the chance at a close shot .

Modified Crossbow Permit The Modified Crossbow Permit allows qualified individuals to hunt big or small game with a crossbow that has been specifically modified with a device that allows it to be discharged (fired) with use of a breath tube. This permit does not allow the use of an unmodified crossbow. To qualify: you must be permanently physically unable to hold or draw a legal bow or to fire a legal bow that has been modified to hold and release the string. If you can pull the trigger on a gun, you will not qualify.

Yikes ! I’m happy with a four inch group at 20 yards as I kill them at 12-15 . Rarely practice at 30, never beyond , seems like a lot of unnecessary walking .....

100% agree . I know many guys at work who bought a compound and killed deer their first year , some of them out shot some of us in no time . One guy joined our 3D league using a bow borrowed from another competitor , so the only time he shot was at the meet , half way through he bought his own bow . Living in the city through he had no place to practice regularly, he won the league that year .

Don’t you need a nation to have a national anthem ? Just play the freaking game , run , throw ,catch the ball ,collect your millions , your fans will get drunk and yell ,which apparently is the point of being a football fan . Win ,win .

Keep in mind we’re a small city well under a quarter million , but we try harder ! For reference, NYC would have to have over 300 shootings last night to match our pre capita . 8 shot, one stabbed , two dead in a fatal crash , multiple fires, and one police officer attacked .

I’d trade for one . My GERD is extreme today, over did the spicy food and amount in general , had to get out of bed and sleep upright in a chair . Stomach is not back to normal yet, and we have a party at 4:00 ! The party is at a couples house who are moving to Tenn. next month, he just texted me, do I want his brand new deer decoy ? So that’ll be fun this season .

Just back from neighbors ( taking a short break ) tons of food, beer and fireworks for later . Almost everyone there has red, white and blue ,shirt or hat on ,it’s refreshing to see that what we see on TV or the net is largely just a few, unemployed ,struggling.wheres my trophy , failures .

I’ve had good and bad on CL. To many flippers ,and guys who watched to many episodes of American Pickers though . Small items I’d rather give away ,throw out or donate . What a pain it was selling my old Buick , no shows, guys texting questions for days, asking for picture after picture , one guy from Buffalo I finally just told him to just go away . The guy I ended up selling it to ,I know was a flipper , ya know when you show up with your own car trailer it’s a bit of a clue .

Grabbed 100 rounds of jhp for my 9s, and 600 rounds of ball today . I like to shoot and this run on ammo will continue to the election and beyond I feel , so I’m adding to my supply when I see it .

Almost live from Irondequoit Bay , youngest daughter doesn’t ski much, got up on first try this year . This is as close to fishing as I get .
