With the senior discount we squeak by.... Id hate to pay to hunt but 5K split 4 ways , may be less then taxes and upkeep on many guys land .

just spent somewhere between $1,000 - $1,200 to go to Pittsburgh to watch two Cardinals games and eat out one night . Flying to St. Louis in Sept to watch 3 games , staying an extra day or two, figure $3,000 . 5K is only two or three weeks pay for many folks .

Who ? Im generally 15 over on the expressways , ask the Mrs, thanks to the flat screen display she can now see the speed.... oh and if someone flips me off I always smile and think, mission accomplished ! As far as getting deer onto your Truck, many cut a sheet of plywood like Lawdwaz but cut two hand holds at the lower end, slide deer partway up from the ground, then simply lift the board up and slide it in . Its way to early and hot to be talking deer hunting anyways .

200 miles or so . Used to canoe all over Canada, from Quebec to the Yukon River . Most in one day maybe 30 miles with a good flow .

So she says up to date on shots, and has never bitten anyone prior . I’ll take that at face value . Did say it doesn’t like men and I agree with what most have posted ( I even have a beagle and have chased it in every backyard around here ) . Gman the bite was hit and run, never saw it till I felt it, then it was gone just as fast . Its easy to draw and fire on a square range, quite another when your under attack , beer in one hand ,reaching over a table grabbing food with another . Had I had it on me it never would have prevented or ended the bite . In the house , I was seeking an object to get between us, while fumbling to, draw and open my Spyderco ,while watching the dog, and calling for help , may not be as easy as one thinks . The main reason I did get it after the second go round was, if it latched on to another , then I might have time . Years ago when an unleashed pit attacked my Beagle, I did break my walking stick over its head, which broke off attack ( and the stick ) ,looked like a Mexican standoff , that time break did allow me to draw my .38 snub out of my coat pocket . That finally caused the owner to call his dog back ..... but during the actual attack good luck drawing and getting an aimed shot off . Oh she got it from someone in the city who kept it in the basement .... When I worked for the city ,I’d see pits with weights tied around their necks, and ones hanging by their mouths from towels tied to tree branches .

I get it. I prefer at this point due to it being my niece ,to try and bring about some compliance through the family . She has a number of issues going on and I’d prefer to start there . Some random person, sure .

Well I didn’t shoot it, largely because I left my gun locked in the car in her driveway ( never again ) . So she has a baptism party for her twins , about 40 of us in the backyard , kids playing the whole bit . Her dog comes up ,I let it smell my balled up ( I like to keep my fingers ) left hand , alls ok , I pet it no problems . A few minutes later it just runs up and chomps on my right calf wtf ! Couple minutes later I go into the house to wash out the wound , I come out of the bathroom, there it is again , blocking me in the hall ,growling ,rearing back ,I figure round two is on and this seems worse . I draw my folder while yelling , “ call this F@#king dog off !” , niece is in kitchen comes gets him, didn’t know I was in house , where they now put dog as party was outside . Then she says, “ ya he doesn’t like men...... “ From what I over hear, I may not have been it’s first victim . Not once in three more hours did her or her BF/ baby daddy ask if I was ok let alone apologize , well when we left I got a brief are you ok ? Which is perhaps why we’re a bit estranged from a few on that side . So shortly I’ll have a talk with her Mom ,my sister , that dog should not be around people let alone the new borns .

If your kid has one of those battery operated cars, like the Jeep, or pink Barbie car, that they ride around the yard in you’ll like this . Theres a guy on the net that makes custom plugs, so you can run your tool batteries in the car , be warned , it really speeds them up .

Cards win tonight vs Houston, 5-3 . Goldschmidt , homers now 5 straight games, Cards take first place over cubs.

I’d like to help you out , but if I remember correctly the farm only got a couple in the past and the farmers used them . I could probably have a hunter and mentor come with me and give them a Dmap , if needed . I thought about being a mentor , but I’m still mentoring my daughter ....

Dad had a barrel that Had hole in the lid that he attached a hose to that ran off his lawn mower , unscrewed muffler and hose had a fitting that screwed on to where muffler was. Have a hart trap went into barrel with critters in it . I had a cat that pissed all over the house , so cat made a trip over to Dads as well . Our Beagle goes after the chipmunks , only downside is he chews up the downspouts where they like to hide .

What was I thinking 150 FEET from a house without permission , so one neighbor each way , and ,living on a corner don’t need permission at all in that direction, guy across the road ( Jim ) said I could shoot deer out his kitchen window , true story I declined , for now .

What I’m a good 15 or maybe 20 feet from my neighbors house when I shoot ! You can bow hunt 150 yards from a house , so I only need permission from two neighbors in each direction to shoot in my yard , none of them care they think bows are a toy , and I’m a swell guy ! When I shot in my driveway of my house in the city of Roch. I’ve had cops wave when they drove by ,hunters I guess . Id say speeding is the most broken law, well that and lying on tax forms , but that’s built in the system.

I hunt one farm . As far as I know they get the Dmaps, In the past they have gotten a couple ddp , but who really wants to mess around with dead deer in warm weather and such . Btw some of the workers at your qdma banquet hunt the same farm .

I did ! It was ok , I was bit disappointed, the Mrs had crab stuffed sole , that she liked . Really wanted shrimp cocktail as an appetizer, but it wasn’t an option.

Cards won this afternoon 6-3 , sweep 4 game series. Dinning now at some fancy mans restaurant.

Cards win 14-8 . Wainwright has a bad first inning back to back walks gave up two runs . Top of second cards batted around including three homeruns , scored 9 runs . By the forth inning it was 13- 4 , I almost took off my Cards hat , Bucks fans were getting pissed , mostly at their own team . They ended up having two position players pitch .

We’re only 45 doe tags per square mile .... Dmaps are doe only and during the season following all regulations , two,per hunter , farm gets a couple dozen . Nuisance ,tags I’m not all that familiar with but it can be at night, out of season and so forth . oh and I wish the developers were a bit closer , well and we had sewers ..... I’d sell the land in a heart beat .

Nothing since July 4th !? I had to dig deep to find this . Cards are starting to win again , we’re off to Pittsburgh in the morning ,as the Red Birds are there for a 4 game series , won the first two ,will be there for the next two ,hotel half a block from PNC park . We sit in the club section , wider seats ,padded seats, exclusive use of an area of better bars and food .

The guys here who took your identity called and canceled them . Oh don’t try to use your debt card either ....

Correct, court ruled in that Lockport case that counting rounds, when not arresting someone for something else was an illegal search , doesn’t mean it doesn’t still happen . Recently when this issue “ came up “ I asked some cops I know at the gym, if say on a traffic stop they could count the rounds in a legally owned gun. They basically said , “ I guess if I wanted to, although not sure why I’d I’d want to .” Which is why asking cops legal questions is iffy at best .
