To the OP , don’t use internet for your sole basis of legal advice . Call your DA’s office and ask them, getting something in writing would be even better . There is not an even enforcement of these laws state wide . So what your county says only applies there. TF I think you mean “ they are not going to enforce 7 rounds in Erie “ if they don’t enforce 10 rounds that would mean over 10 would be ok . Throwing out prior convictions, is good, still cost those guys 5 figures to fight it , and good luck getting your guns and permit back . Ya a Western district court made its ruling , but the law is still on the books, even though many won’t charge you some areas still do . How do I know ? Daughters former boyfriend is fighting a felony charge for a Safe act arrest for that very thing. His arrest was last month, to many rounds in the mag . My county ( Monroe ) won’t charge you with a Safe act only violation , in other words, if they come across your mag in a traffic stop ,or the like it’s ok, robbing a bank they’ll charge you with the Safe act violation too . NOT every county will do this , the law is still on the books , despite the Western District courts ruling , some county’s will arrest you . His attorney only needed a 10k retainer , to try and beat the FELONY charge . I carry 10 in Monroe county , 7 when I travel outside of it, kid was arrested in a neighboring county . Say what you want, he went to jail , they got a search warrant, took all his guns , he’s facing jail time and loss of his job . A PT that’s great ! Kathy works on acute Med. floor . 6 floor the rest of the number I forget . We recently gave each daughter some money, with the stipulation they increase their contributions to their retirement accts. and use the money to make up any monthly shortfalls in living expenses. Getting the money in early is key . The accountant is contributing 17% .

Great Bob ! Kathy moves to pre and post op, sometime in August , straight days and no weekends , it’s not easy to get those spots . But no nights ,weekends ,and heavy lifting . I worked nights ,weekends and holidays for 28 years, but nurses don’t get to sleep in between calls .... I’d dont know how she did it . Well maybe if I was young again . do, you know the floor ?

Our daughter stopped by today, she just received another “ Strong Star “ award ( Strong memorial hospital ) she’s an RN there, her Pt was suicidal , and stated that she was always positive, caring and smiling, and she “ Truly reached him .” We are very proud of her , and I hope the PT, turns the corner for good . Ive had many calls for suicides mostly after the fact and a couple we were able to stop, but to be able to reach a person before ,that stage is truly awesome . My last one was a young gal threatening to jump off an overpass onto 490 , I saw her a few weeks later at a “ children’s center “ ( they always pull the fire alarm ) and she was still messed up, to be able to reach someone before that stage can be life changing . Just a proud dad, she’s not a paycheck nurse ,she truly cares about the PTs and their families . She must get that from her Mom .

You’re right, I had no idea there was a poundage requirement for them , I don’t read bow mags or read up on any of that stuff on the net . I was OK these will be great ! It was my lower poundage and high shot, that lead to,poor penetration, never found arrow and believe I hit a high artery which saved me . I love cut on contact because they often don’t run off like they were kicked in the ass , I truly feel they don’t feel them , like when you cut yourself shaving and don’t know till you see the blood . This is funny , Dr pulled a 3/4 inch “ wire “ out of my chest the other day, removing a tick ,I saw a black line in my chest , a tweezers and razor blade and I couldn’t remove it , Dr gave me a shot and dug deep,, never knew it was in me . I guess cut on contact wire .....

Question , as a paid author myself ( knife magazines ) I have to ask were you paid to write them or were they vanity press ? Where you pay to have books published,then try to, peddle them .

Pickle Fest in Pittsburgh is July 26-28th . We’ll be there for some baseball games but leaving the 28th sadly . Oh any restaurant recommendations? We go every year been to many including Meat and Potatoes ,Looking for good steak or Italian, money not a big factor .

Honestly in the last ten years or so I haven’t had to track any deer in gun or bow, except the Rage shot and that was less then 100 yards and mostly due to my high quartering away shot . No exit wound didn’t help , but was a two minute recovery , so,I guess it did it’s job ,I didn’t too , high a shot . If you guys don’t like sharping the heads Mangus will for free , but it sees like they just send you new ones , which I’m sure is cheaper for them . its to early for all this bow talk , maybe Sept .

Nice ! I was gong to suggest visiting Kelly’s Bar, decent beer great cheap food off the beaten path ,but a quick check showed they’re closed . If you visit Ernest Hemingway’s house , you’ll be pleased to see most likely you’ve killed a bigger buck then he did . best beach I found was fort Zachery Taylor .

It’s a several thousand acre farm , deer are a pest, nobody’s making food plots to attract them .

30, plus years of killing deer with a bow and arrow , fixed for me .cut on contact Mangus Stingers . Once a few year ago I tried a Rage , buck died , but I was less then impressed by performance . Its all about shot placement , double lung it and it’s dead within 15 seconds no matter the head , don’t take iffy shots expecting the head to make up for poor shot choices ,imho .

Farm just grabbed a new one, it was about $350,000 ,is that too much ? Id post a pic, but it seems I can no longer ,which is making me hardly even look at the site anymore .

Go whatever route you ,guys want , heres a fun fact . At one of the kids high school graduation the principal gave a talk about scholarships, this is a large HS . Of the three main sources of scholarships, number one money wise is academics, followed by art and music ,then sports . I believe he did this in response to all the nutty parents ,in the sports community. Now get this art and music was at that school 3xs that of athletics , Moog should have picked up that paint brush sooner . The nerds quietly March along . Daughter two dated a D1 full ride soccer goalie at UB for 4 years , nice kid. But I’d bet the parents spent as much on his soccer as college would have cost . His travel teams flew all over the county ( he’s from Dallas ) as well as playing in Europe .
