So Dicks nationwide will no longer sell assault “ style guns “, normal ( what they call HiGH capacity ) mags,or any gun to somebody under 22 y/o . Thank you Single Shot, there is a way to notify them so they stop asking all the time . Dues money by law can’t be used for political purposes, hence the begging for it .

Paula, is getting it this weekend . Thats a piece of Trex , I had to dismantle part of our deck, as the house is being sided soon. It’s just lying under the couch . As far as losing radio transmissions, I can say our system sucks . If you’re on your portable , lots of times the dispatcher can’t hear you if your in a building or basement of a home, and we can’t hear the transmissions of someone only a couple ,miles away . Chiefs have repeaters I their cars and we have special radios for use in high rises , and still they suck . There have been times I just give up and call the dispatcher by cell phone . On a big event there is so much traffic , and guys taking over each other many transmissions are never heard or recorded .

As I tell my kids , and others who live in apartment and multi use buildings, “ it’s not just what you do, you gotta worry about what all the others do .”

Kids, it makes them feel as if they’re doing something , cute really . As a kid I remember doing papers,in the ‘70s on gun control , “Saturday Night Specials ” were the target back then . Today my views are 180 of when I as a kid .

As for the safe act ya I get it, but with limited funds one has to fight fights one has a chance of wining , no ? I’ve since needed readers , i have them at work,in the car and all over the house . if need be I can read a menu, but much past that I need them .

I had it done in my early 50’s . I was “ legally blind” without my glasses, which corrected my eyes pretty good. But as you know glasses are a pain, particularly on my job , so, I went for it. Came out 20/15 ,20/20 . It’s since diminished somewhat to like 20/25, I’m almost 59. Now I didn’t even like putting in eye drops, anything to do,with my eyes freaked me out a bit. Everything I read by folks who had it done , said the procedure was a breeze, but I was somewhat worried, the operation was a breeze ..... I went to Dr. Allen Robbins, a noted eye Dr in this area, and well known across the country , now he was somewhat gruff, but I wasn’t looking for a pal, just a very good eye Dr. $1,000 off for police ,fire and military , not sure about former though . Ill warn you ahead of time, I never knew how wrinkled I was till after lasik , I aged like 15 years, in the 10 minute operation.

They should make a camo one and charge 50% more ! Maybe put a Bonecrusher sticker on it .

Looking at the few pictures and videos I could find, it appears that they made a really good stop, despite the outcome. You have a very long wood frame building with heavy fire venting from the second story A side, well before FD arrival . I’m surprised that it didn’t get in the cockloft and run the entire length. If it gets in the cockloft, the only way to get water on it is to get ahead of it and pull the second floor ceilings and place a small ladder there to get up there and spray water . Restaurant staff reported smelling “ electrical “ odors prior. “Smells and bells ( alarms )“ make up a fair number of our calls . People smell or think they do, gas, electrical .plastic burning ,chemical ,all kinds of odd odors we’ll come check it out , try to figure it out . Sometimes it turns out to be things like a floor refinishing upstairs, or someone sealing a driveway, Then they feel silly .
