    Guys don’t want to get caught short again I guess . The place i go has an eight box per day limit , 2 handgun ,2 rimfire , 2 center fire , 2 shotgun . That seems to work well they always have ammo although hunting rounds are very hit and miss . But their customers are more tactical guys .

    Congrats Biz ! we’re camping , so we are heading into town later for dinner and to watch the Cards . The joint closes at 10:00…. Cards should have it locked up by then . We’re in Letchworth so I’ll have to dodge the deer coming back , but perhaps bumper killed deer count ?

    Some are saying Facebook is not down, but gone ! My only concern if that turns out correct ,is if hackers can do that to FB, what about elsewhere ? Most people’s “ Money “ is just numbers on a server that gets moved around from work to bank to investments. I had a talk with a friend just two days ago , while he has stocks and such he also has over his weight in silver and a lot of gold as well partly for that very reason . We have some and I wanted to get more this AM but JM bullion was out of Gold Eagles .

    Deer bedded in the rain again at our daughters 10 this morning , and a Fox hanging out behind the gym parking lot . There was a herd of geese not to far from him as well . Who needs a woods to hunt in ….

    No not hard to,believe at all . 8 million new gun owners each buying boxes of ammo, existing owners buying more guns which need more ammo . The average gun guy bought two boxes a year for each gun , now they buy all they can find . Production has shifted to the most sought after calibers ie nato rounds 9mm, .223 , 5.56 and so on . The manufactures say it takes a few years to get a new plant built and up and running ,They’re not going to commit to that for what may be a couple year backlog . It’s of little matter to me, personally .

    Fun watching the deer at our daughters , pouring rain and they just bed right in the wide open, a snowballs toss away from good canopy. Kinda in the woods ….

    Nope . I enjoy looking at the cards of my two ,to see what’s on them that’s it . One isn’t even near a stand . I’ll probably pull them next hunt ,I’d rather not walk around after sitting just to swap cards . Most likely I’ll,put them on entrances for security duty though . I almost get uncomfortable when guys base their sits on recent , almost real time info from their cell cameras .

    First congrats , second I was nervous for a second , I may be using TC later for a buck . My strategy is early weeks pick buck killers , as one 6pt will out score one guy picking 5 guys who take a doe each . That’s a bold strategy Colton .

    Put a fork in me . Camping in Letchworth next week , highs in the low ‘70s , looking forward to it . I’ll hunt in a week a little . pulled one card does, small bucks and mostly at night .

    I seldom say this but I should have listened to my wife. “ it’s early , so to warm ,to green, no deer .” I don’t know where’s she’s heard that before !

    Nice morning warm no wind . The turkeys are going nuts all around me , flocks of geese overhead . This side of the woods is pretty open hopefully I’ll see something somewhere .
