Joe and I had this very discussion a few hours ago . Before we sat for the afternoon , he wanted to grab two camera cards. He said should we bring our bows ? I said “ I take mine down with me when I get down to take a $&@t !”

So in the daylight I found some body damage , the A post has a five inch long dent with paint cracked and peeling off. This deer hit the truck at the apex of a jump ! I thought he was coming through windshield , but up and over he went . The glass case is where he landed on bed cover and you can see mud on rear window . Im ok with that damage , I thought the whole side and possibly front was toast .

Im Swimming in turkeys , blew some off roost , more flew down at daylight .

Buck down . hit him with my Chevy truck on the way here …. Saw him running through yards on the other side of the road , I braked just in case then he committed to crossing the road wtf .Braked more moved over , BAM! He hit driver side fender / front , slide up the A post over the cab and would have landed in the bed, but there’s a locking metal cover he landed on! I pull in a driveway grab flashlight , no buck ,gone . Only damage is driver side mirror and bed cover is pushed in , in one corner . On stand seeking revenge on all deer !!!

While I’m happy you didn’t reproduce as well ,did you ever think your kids may very well have gone on to solve the very problems you’re concerned about ? Our children have been a true blessing and joy , and have done much good along the way, from volunteering in an orphanage in Haiti to building Habitat for Humanity homes . Oh and Trump voters !

Or the gun culture we have , along with months of mostly peaceful riots , and a defund the police movement .

In my truck is a machete,ax, and a folding knife , on me is one or two knives at all times . If I’m going to the woods I’m toting a fixed blade as well . Rigger is also a temporary state , bodies return to a flaccid state .

Ya know, that’s a thing here, cross boarding ,inside trading . People pick someone then they tell,them to change it as they’re not hunting that week , or a guy knows when someone is going to take vacation etc . id like to see all picking done prior to the season . Carry on .

I loaded a ton of 40x96 containers back in the day here in Roch. They’d go to Montreal and NJ . It’s all shipper load and count .

Well it’s woods just not hunting , but my buddy home said he’s shoot a doe for me tonight ! That’s awesome then I can just buck hunt .

No end in sight for computer chip shortage needed for cars , phones , computers. My trailer tires now back orders five months , REI has sign apologizing for lack of boots , Belo struggled to find a mower . Ammo ? Haha and some here actually think prices will lower and shelves will be full again . That’s rich ! Im not super worried at this point , as long as another shoe don’t drop . Off to climb Bald Mtn.

Trouble with the $15 dollar minimum, now those workers can’t afford gas, rent , cars ,food …..who could imagine the costs would be added to the goods and services? Lol It matters little to me what gas and food costs ,I’ll still be in Fla this winter and Alaska next summer . Inflation is a regressive tax , it hurts those at the bottom the most , but it’s what they wanted …..

So the shop had lots of handgun ammo, some shotgun slugs ,410 stuff, 00buck , rifle was sparse, .22 tons of .308 many kinds of it , a few different 300blk , 450 bushmaster ? Some idk 22.250 or something No .223/ 5.56 first time ever that was gone ! That’s what I wanted as I’m stocking up for my daughters fiancé. Grabbed another box of Gold dot 9mm for $35 that’s not to bad . I’ve got a bad feeling when Letita James becomes Governor and she appoints a rabid anti gun attorney general too, that they’ll make Andy look like a life Nra member !

Needed to run some errands ,one being new hiking shoes , as they’re on the shortage list . Went to REI a store for outdoor types who hug trees not sit in them . They have signs requiring wearing a mask ! Sorry I won’t shop where I have to wear one or show my vac card, so in I go sans mask . No one said anything although the shoe salesperson basically dropped the boxes off and ran off…lol . Oh and there’s a sign apologizing for low inventory on shoes so I was right . About $200 later I got me a new pair of Keens . Next stop the gun shop ! Cops and FF buying guns and ammo not a mask in sight ! Lots of 300 BLK, .308 though .

Hikers are worth five points ! Ive had success dragging a Cliff bar behind me as I walk in , also hang a Patagonia hat at eye level just off a trail .
