At the same time they say there’s thousands of open healthcare jobs in the area , so where exactly will they find these nurses? Our daughters hospital bumped up the extra pay for working OT , as people are getting tired of working so much . You get of course time and a half, plus $120 for each 4 hour block . Work a 12 hour shift, get 18 hours pay plus $360 , so 28 hours pay for the 12 hour shift .

I know a group of cops going, many aren’t vaxxed . From talking to them a couple days back their main concern was how many beers they could drink .

Took 3 single shots , as I don’t like to shoot much with people home and outside . This is my first shot at 20 , then i shot one at 30 which was low and left, the sights were dancing quite a bit , then I shot at 25, using the 20 pin held dead center and put it in the circle . Im ready, my average deer shot with an arrow since ‘88 runs in the 12 -15 yard range , farthest was 25 and that was one time many years ago . Also got my yardage markers set !

Many years ago my friend out West was out hunting with his bow , he stopped to take off some layers . He stripped down to bare skin , when he heard something right above him in the tree , yep a Mountain Lion ! He picked up,his stick bow and sent a Magus BH through it !

Got off a night shift , hit the YMCA around 8:00 . The weights were in the back and a short wall separated that area from the cardio ,which was where the TVs were . I see a high rise fire on one TV,then another and another , so I walked over to look , learned what it was , stopped doing weights and jumped on a treadmill . Few hours later back to work in a state of shock . The two patches on the right were given to me by a FDNY LT, that was in my flips class a few years later .

Miami was a weekend to attend the yacht party, thrown by a rich relative of the fiancé , really a once in a lifetime event ,people flew in from around the country to attend , entrepreneurs and influencers galore . I spent time in South Beach, before and after a family cruise , ya a little rich for my blood felt like Jed Clampet ( proudly ). Would like to go to Greece people seem to rave about their trips there .

Ok, I’ll book you guys a WEEK , camping and throw in my trailer to use , you book me ten days in Greece . Four hours on the boat costs 25 grand , that’s without any food ,drink , or band , so I won’t hold you to that .

This will close short staffed nursing homes , turning PTs back to family members if there are any , hospitals will be even more backed up as those from the floors to billing , ( which are already short staffed ) see many leave . The largest hospital here has many senior facilities staff, ready to retire over this , these are the guys who keep the lights on . Glad I’m a healthy fit person who goes to a Dr every 5 years or so , which maybe the future wait time .

Most farm land around us never hits the market , a few farms buy it up first . I’d sell him a few acres , one acre around the corner just went for 45k . If he wants to hunt ,that would bring a premium, price though . Lol

While our oldest flew to Miami for the weekend to attend a party on a 240 foot Yacht , and the youngest is now in the air in route to Greece for ten days . Things seem ass backwards here !

Here go . When I told him the roads our land was on ,he immediately knew all the surrounding farmers etc . If you want a true accurate appraisal. There as many variables, road frontage , what utilities are there , size ,shape, access , drainage ,use and on and on . realtors don’t know sh!t , they just go by “ comparables “ ignoring what makes one chunk worth more then another as they mostly don’t know .

I use a backpack leaf blower to do mine once the leaves have mostly all dropped . I’ll do it after a morning bow hunt mid oct I guess , and the next time I hunt there will be tracks walking and crossing it . For some reason this pic posts sideways ,when it isn’t when I grab it ….

My experience is 100% opposite Enigma . I hunt a few thousand acre farm but its patchwork, bought up farms all over the place . Everybody hunted the piece they lived by, hiked it rode sleds and so on . A guy showed up and offered to manage it hunting wise , he posted it all, tossed off everyone ,even the old man walking his dog . Hes long gone but to this day nobody sets foot on the land for the most part . My friend bought 60 acres from a guy who lived out of state . His first opening day of gun , he tossed off 17 Hunters ,who for years just hunted the land as it was theirs , zeros issues to today many years later . in this situation the ATV riders must be from neighboring land , it’s not like they don’t have other land to rode on .

I shot a handful of arrows today , 30 was high again . Then I really concentrated and paid attention to form and they dropped down to where they should hit , I’m only talking two arrows , as I stopped as I don’t like to shoot to much when folks are outside in the neighborhood. We leave for camping tomorrow nit sure when I’ll get to shoo again

That brewery is a half mile from my daughters place in Buffalo , I enjoy their stuff !

Went down to trim around the posted signs along the roads, and grab a half dozen arrows from the shop down there . Well might as well hit up the Other Half while I’m in the neighborhood.

Having gone on thousands of 911 calls, I could fill this forum with stories . How about a call for a strange odor poss natural gas, when it’s their drive way being sealed . Probably 100s of “ smoke alarm going off “ when it’s the low battery chirping once every 60 seconds . Apparently these same folks hike !

So bow Hunter since ‘88 . My first session this year, right on ,10,20,30 yards , then last time 10-25 right on with 20 yard pin, but a good 6 inches high at 30 with 30 yard pin this has never happened and nothings moved on the bow i figure it’s me . So today same thing high w/30 , so I decide to shoot with 20 yard pin at 30 , way low wtf . I ended on a positive with a dead center shot from 30 w/30 yard pin . im thinking it’s a mental thing idk though , and I have never took a shot at a deer over 25 , with 12-15 being an average distance for me , but it’s frustrating. Baseball groups 5-25 , way high at 30 !
