    aint that the truth. one year i had a bunch of big bucks on my place and put everyone in the big buck contest. didnt shot a one of those big bucks.

    september cant come quick enough. get it done.

    when we hunt elk in mt and the day is supposed to rain we head to jellystone to look at elk. we'rer at mammoth and the signs are all over the place saying to stay away from the wildlife. they also have people there to keep tourist away from the animals. my friend pulls out his camera and starts walking across the street heading for the elk. a woman stops him and ask him whats he doing. he says he going to take pictures of the elk. she says can you run 35mph. my friend replies 34 on a good day.

    i'm going to say 121. i don't see enough mass or tine lenght for him to be higher than that.

    55 and 56 is just about all wilderness which means you have to hire a guide or find a resident that can take you. thats why the archery tags and the special tags you can get with your pts.

    sure, rub it in. september is coming and anyone who elk hunts knows its the best month of the year. i like the funky looking bull. can you tie him to a tree for me? thanks for sharing.

    i would of thought that you would have a pocket full of tags. a couple elk, a couple antelope, a couple deer. are you a resident? as a resident can you still buy some general deer tags?

    it cant be that slow in wy that your slumming on a ny forum. what tags do you have for wy this year?

    look at kiowa outfitters. i drew a nm oryx tag a few years ago and used them. i was very happy with the service i got. i would have done it diy, but for a three day hunt i saved money by going with them.

    i've gone through 5 nest so far this year sending one turkey through the mower. went through a nest tuesday, hen flew off, was still nesting. turkeys look like they are having another great year here. i've seen three broods with about 10 chicks each. most of them were hatched out the end of may. lots of hay fields still to go through.
