they will eat it up, its usually picked by november. if its left in the field, the deer sometimes will walk by corn to get to the beans. if the deer are not used to it, they will die form it with a full stomach.
bkhunter; when you draw a tag,you can get a list of names of hunters that hunted that unit. if its not an easy to draw tag, you will get help. that alone makes it worth the $100. the mag is great too!
don't plant beans and corn together. its a sure fire way to make sure you end up with no corn. the deer will come to eat the beans and wily they are there they will eat the corn. the corn won't have a chance.
christmas came early this year, i drew a mule deer buck tag for montana. i had max pts and about 1 in 50 chance of drawing. i was expecting to get a couple more strikes from montana. i apply for about 40 tags a year and hope to draw one.anyone going to montana this year?

if your not a bow hunter you better become one. you can get otc bow tags for deer and turkey for most of the state. take the hunter ed class and get a permanent bonus pt. if you ever decide to leave az make sure you buy a lifetime license. with a lifetime license you will not be subject to the up to 10% nonresident cap.
