    The elks lodge in tonawanda is my favorite . I'm a breaded fish fry guy though. You guys need to specify ,a true fish fry fan needs to know these things.

    Do you guys or how often to you take a glance at the mounts ,beards,racks etc. that you have on display ? It seems like every day I take a glance at the couple of euro mounts in my living or even the one in my garage . Our house has other stuff throughout for decoration and what not , I never pay it any attention.

    Don' know how to prepare the meat ? Not sure what you mean. I agree about the disconnect that people have while eating venison that was given to them.

    i'm really hoping to score tickets to Slayer tomorrow . I used to get in to country but it got really lame , I can still listen to the older stuff for a minute or two

    That' interesting you say that , I find water to do just the opposite to my joints ,it makes them soggy and hard to light.

    Did the power company bring reinforcemens from other states yet ? The reason I ask is because it' so close to the city and they like to play games with outside the area workers .

    This thread is becoming comical ,I do feel bad for all those effected but never heard an adult complain so much about being with out power. I can't even imagine what you would do in a real emergency.

    I'm not sure what is old anymore , my dad is 67 and just started training for his next marathon. I've heard from the experienced crowd is never stop moving .

    Maybe you're getting sick? My run on Wednesday was harder then the other ones and sure enough on Thursday , i had flu like body aches until saturday which seem to be gone now and no other real sickness.

    The "new" neighborhood behind me has buried lines , i live in the poor old neighborhood with above ground lines , conservatively speaking ,the new neighborhood loses power 10 times for every 1 time we lose power . I don't know why but there is a lot of people behind me with generators running and our lights never even flickered .

    I guarantee you would not like their fix for the situation . Remember when WNY got the october storm and trees fell everywhere? Their fix was to butcher everyones trees in their yard ,basically cutting a giant V down the middle of every tree that a had a power line running through it.

    This thread reminds of the flooding in jersey a few years back where everyone stood on high ground and bitched that the government wasn't helping them . Sometimes you need to help yourself .

    Saw a neighborhood kid fall through the ice under goldens bridge on tonawanda creek as a kid, you could see him hitting the ice from underneath before he found the hole and made it back out.

    That was the same gun i passed up to get the Henry 30 30 . Eventually i'll go back for it.

    Sounds like you're set on buying one ,however for other people . Get your length of pipe and separate it into smaller pieces and use connectors , run a string or bungey cord down through the middle and attach at each end to keep all the piece together for transport.
