  1. Love that saw........glad you're using it but watch where you walk!!
  2. So last night after work I needed to trim my fingernails. That happens in the basement as they tend to fly like mini boomerangs.... Ive had a couple hit me in the face but no damage was done. Last night my luck ran out, uggh. One little nail clipping came zinging right into my left eye! Holy crap, I jump up and run up to the bathroom and look into the mirror. I couldn’t see anything but it itched and watered bad. I thought maybe it flushed out during the run upstairs?? A couple times during the evening and today during the day it started to itch and water again but would soon go away. I thought maybe it was just a small scratch on my cornea or something at that point, how could a hunk of nail not be incredibly painful?? Well twenty minutes ago it started to itch again, then my vision got blurry. I jumped out of my easy chair and ran to the bathroom mirror. There it was, setting on my lower eye lid! Thank goodness that flushed out on its own..... 27 hours later!!
  3. Where to and when??? If summer, the park at the north end of Hemlock Lake would be VERY family friendly. The have a great covered area IIRC. GORGEOUS doesn’t do it justice..... Or, Harriet Holistet Spencer Park at the south end of Honeoye Lake (up on top of the “mountain” looking down at the lake is great too. All that good info from a Region 9 Allstar.
  4. Wonder who footed the bill for surgery on a young deer, if that’s what it was?? Or any wild deer?
  5. She’s staring at it and thinking “WTH did I agree to?”
  6. Pretty sure Nomad is up on this subject. I’m happy with my Citizen.......(too much money spent on Guns and optics)
  7. Details in the gun? Thinking it’s NOT a Remington 700............lol Where is the hunt Friday?
  8. This shit is REAL. They can’t take a chance........ Would any of you really want them staying at your house??
  9. The grouse was attracted to the sound of a four wheeler, weed whacker, chainsaw etc. Sadly, that is what also almost assuredly killed it. My friend had a hired hand doing some brush cutting with a saw blade tipped weed whacker. IIRC the bird flew right into the path of the saw and lost a leg. Scratching the ground and hopping around was very difficult for it and probably starved to death. I think we (my friends farm) had a four year relationship with it. Very cool bird! Sorry for telling the story again and showing old already seen pics.....
  10. Looks like a keeper at first glance.......
  11. The OP didn't ask for it but here's some more.........
  12. Birthday greetings Jerry!! I hope you’ve had a great day so far...
  13. Nice looking home for them. The work should keep your spring & summer busy, just be done by 10/25 when things start to ramp up in the woods.
  14. Maybe they didn’t like their neighbor and sold low to get out?
  15. $119,000 (the price is posted but it's next to one of the pics)
  16. Any takers at $200 ??? It's on our local Craigslist with just about the same interest as here........
  17. I know I’m still chasing..... Oh wait, so sorry.
  18. Sincere condolences on the passing of your friend, Otto. Almost all my “hunting buddies” are older than me; there’s been rough days behind and coming I know. When you go today, think of the good times together and that should help to put some sun on a dark day...... RIP Big Bill
  19. WTF......I never took you for a gambler??
  20. Thanks for using them Kevin........It really makes my day to see the kids enjoying something that I absolutely loved when I was a little shaver. Ironically, I passed that park yesterday & today a couple times and I was surprised to see the amount of kids sledding during school hours. Nice!!
