It's been over 15 years since I hit a golf course. That time was for my cousin's bachelor party and the course was in Naples, NY. It was fun but I didn't try too hard as I had less than 0% interest. Cigars and beer were the draw plus of course family & friends. Well today I golfed in the Daemen College Athletic Fundraiser via an invite from my buddy Jack who's daughter is going into her fourth year in the PT field. I dusted off the clubs Jack gave me years ago, bought some balls from Dick's last night and dug some wooden tees (I use them to fill screw holes that missed the mark in fix ups, NOT golf!) from the basement. It was a "four man scramble" and Jack invited two other buddies to be apart of our foursome. It was fun and I even contributed a couple fairway shots that we used and made a few clutch putts. I started with 18 balls and think that I have probably a dozen left..............as the day went on if I shanked a shot I'd forget to look for my ball in the rough and just buzz up to the "best" shot. Jack and I rode together and we were laughing so much we forgot to fetch my ball!! Ahh, it was fun, good food and good friends. It made for a long day though.....I look forward to doing it again 15 years from now.

Yes, my 2011 Tacoma has one also. Too damned bad that when the ignition is off they (or cell phone chargers) don't work.

It was a very fun time but I'm not sure my gastroenterologist is going to approve of the wings too frequently.......the shooting was great and I'm sure TF will get banging them out PDQ.

I stepped (waddled) it off at 82 yards but whatever............ Here's my closeup version and yes, I did drill it.

The following morning when I got into my truck I remembered.......I wanted o jot down my mileage from the previous day into my journal. $.52/mile adds up.......

I'd be looking for a second hand Leupold variX II 4x, 2-7x or 3-9x........good old duplex reticle is all you'll really need. I don't see the need for all the circles, hash marks etc for a ML rifle. Of course, YMMV.

The Stihl synthetic oil comes in a a small gray bottle to be mixed with a gallon of gas. And yes, I think it's worth using. I bet you get the hang of it quickly.......I think a leaping bass would be a good project.

Sweet saw!!! Are you using the Stihl synthetic oil with it? She's going to be a big jump over the 'lectric model for sure. What is the next target piece?

Shooting traditional gear can be very rewarding but does take tons of practice to be proficient. Are you shooting instinctive or with sights? Do you still have family here in Amherst, I believe you did?? If so or if you're in the area I'd let you borrow a very good book from G. Fred Asbell. It's his first book "Instinctive Shooting".........

I'm as useless as tits on a bull when it comes to A/V stuff on computers but it seems like I had similar trouble at one time. I don't recall if it was in my computer settings or in you tube.......... If you go a back door route, does it work?
