    You started just a couple/three years before I did and have nailed it with your list. One thing I could add to your list is scents for attractant and cover ups. Yea, I guess Tink's 69 and some skunk scent were around but heck if I remember much else back in the late 70's-early 80's.

    I spent last night in Canadice. Just before turning in (10:30) I went outside to take a wiz.........I saw zero shooting stars and it was clear as can be. There was a boater out on Canadice as I could see his stern light and there looked to be a campfire down on the south end, east side. It was a beautiful evening and actually entire weekend. Great temps and a bit of cloudiness........darn near perfect for August, IMO. I'll take a look tonight before bed but the "city" lights sure make it tough, uggh.

    That is what it is AII about! I had my one and only bear encounter two years ago while bowhunting. I only saw it for a 20 seconds or so before I was busted by his nose. I also was bummed about it but I quickly got over it, knowing just how fortunate I was to even see one. (I'd have probably missed anyway)

    Shooting from an elevated position in a neighborhood isn't easy.........the bathroom window is perfect for it. And, the ONLY shot that really matters to me is the first one from an (say it with me now) replicated tree stand. Shooting from the ground is for Field Archers......
