I just saw something on the news........(I'm not sure where he lives but have an idea)........it COULD be a bit more time for him to get re-energized. The people they interviewed weren't happy with the local utility company. I wish I could have talked to him, I could have loaned him a generator. Maybe he's staying with his sister??

I like your style.

Yes, I've been to a very reputable orthopedic surgeon here in WNY. Although he wanted to operate a couple times so far that hasn't been totally necessary, in my highly uneducated opinion. He has prescribed a few non surgical solutions that have worked pretty well so far, considering. One of those solutions was prescription orthodics from Hook's Shoes. I now have two pair of them and the are an amazing help but there's still the fit of the shoe that is a difficult part of the equation.

On a side note........I saw a buck that I ASSUME was shot by the G-Man at the WNY Outdoor show today. Dandy buck G!

One of my all time favorite "quickies"......Sloppy Joe's.

I had to cut up a pine tree at my fathers this morning and haul it to the curb. It only took about an hour and I never stood still for more than 15 seconds as the chain saw licked through the soft pine. I dragged all parts to the street and damn if my feet weren't chilled. Love me some chain saw work.......

Even though I know you aren't here for anything but to pimp products, the Lowa's I bought are the the Tibet GTX. Prove me wrong......

Yea, now that I think of it I was at Mosher's the day after (when I saw the tree) and they had juice. Although, one of their buildings sustained pretty severe damage to a rolled roof.

I've been through 3 pair Chippewa and one pair of Keen's. Sometime last year I got the pair of Keen's. They were great for a while then a couple months ago my feet started to hurt bad. I thought for the most part it was me but I think the shoes just broke down and the inner sole (?) breaks down and then the sucktitude starts. I bought three pairs of shoes from three different stores and returned two, the keeper is a pair of Merrill's. They are (not surprisingly) a half size bigger than almost anything else I've ever worn and fit great. I've had them for about 10 days and so far, so good. In early January I bought a pair of Lowa boots to replace other ill-fitting hunting boots and I'm still not positive if they're going to work out......damn I hope so.

Anybody local have a child that could use this, gratis? -
In 2006 I pulled apart the switch to my furnace and wired a male end plug to it. Then I just plugged in my extension cord to the generator. Main is off but doesn't matter at that point anyway........the power coming in to the switch is disconnected. Then I had one other extension cord with a pigtail on it that fed a couple lights/sump pump/ freezer and fridge. Worked real nice for 6 or 7 days. Now I have a second generator, a Honda EU2000 to ease the burden on the Honda EB 3000. I hope I never need them again! I did give the 2000 watt unit to a kid at work yesterday but his juice was back on by the time he got home from work.

Seems like there's plenty of guys that have great success with these. A friend of mine usually kills 6-7 deer with them each year and has been for awhile. He loves them..... (farm tags)
