Silly me, I guess I should have asked what the OP was using? I mean, ML, shotgun or rifle? I was obviously referencing my rifles. Red, your ML sounds pretty good. What does your load consist of?

You guys are lucky........I have to hang around tomorrow as we have company coming. 14 for dinner is a bus load for us. Not much really to do for me as my wife does 90% of the work.........the turkey is my baby. Fluff, buff and stuff then toss in the oven. Good luck all...............

I think I'll be doing a wall pedestal mount on mine also. It may clash with the "old school" flush mounts that are already in the room though.

Congrats on a great bear but friend, that is the worst picture I've ever seen. Couldn't you flip him on his side and get the leaves off him/her? (and take the noose off it's neck?) I know I'll get some grief for it but cripes, you owe it to the animal to do a better job. OK, hammer away...................

Not surprisingly Doc nailed it again. +100 If you agree with Doc and myself be damned thankful for what NYS has going for it; nice long seasons and the opportunity to kill two bucks and multiple antlerless deer. The DEC is doing some tweaking now that many including myself aren't thrilled about but they'll get things squared away I bet.

So, what did you guys/gals forget? Today I had everything but luck, I forgot nothing! There were a few things I couldn't find as fast as I wanted but damn, I have some many zippered pockets on my backpack, freestanding pouches and coat!! I take this stuff WAY to serious to forget much. How about you guys, forget anything substantial?

I haven't slept since 3am. 4:15 alarm wasn't needed..... My guts are doing flips........... Maybe it was the dip? Duck breast stuffed with jalapeños cream cheese wrapped in bacon? Manhattan? Nawww it must be the anticipation!! South wind right now, east wind is coming later in the morning it appears. Oh well, the die is cast.
