Why do the ONLY two deer in East Aurora wait until I get down from the stand before they show up? Everything was perfect today.....east wind, quiet setup, no potty breaks blah blah freaking blah. I start to get fidgety and decide I'm running low on decaf so might as well pull out and get my work done at home........ Hit the ground, start clanking the stand parts together then look up and see the cutest little 1.5 year old doe standing 40 yards way, cocking her pretty little head left/right up/down trying to figure out who this lard azz is in her woods!! I'm with you G-Man.............dang the luck.

A chain saw would happily cut that tree into many little "easily managed" chunks of wood called "logs". They are awesome little tools/for tools.

From my trail cams........bucks are going bonkers at night, not day YET. I've seen a couple fawns walking alone; momma must be either dead or being bred. One week from now the chatter on this site will be completely different, guaranteed.

Hands down one of THE greatest creations for hunting. (or whatever cold weather activity you can use them in) I've never used the body warmers but have ample experience with the hand & toe warmers. They can totally make a cold morning or afternoon hunt 100% bearable. Sometimes I'll use just one hand warmer and swap it between left/right when needed. My toes can get cold in 2,5 hours in 28 degree temps and the toe warmers extend the mornings hunt with ease. During archery season I usually don't need the toe warmers for the afternoon hunt as my mind knows I'll be out of the woods at a drop dead time so I can stand a little numbness then...... WONDERFUL INVENTION!!!!!

No du k hunting for me this year. The dog has reached a point that although her heart is 120% into it her body is absolutely whipped after a day of hunting. I'm afraid she could get in trouble if she overdoes it. First missed year in 12 with her......times are changing. I did have great day bowhunting though!!

I'm not sure what it is but for me a bow haul rope with a snap clip works fine unless I forget to hook it up. (it hasn't happened YET though)

I've heard different stories over the years but sure don't know for sure. My garage wall has a real variety of odd balls, all loved equally.
