Ok if it clears up I'll take a peak. Damned thing happened today; I was working under my small (only) set of elk horns and bumped them. They stabbed me right in the back and shoulders before I could grab them. Hurt like a sumbitch.......but didn't hit the HD TV!!!!!

Can you take it back (I would if it was somewhat convienient) and tell them to replace it or refund the cash? If you don't go that route, you could always call your county co-operative extension for some info. Or toss the whole thing in the round file and head to Wegmans. Grins....

I'd imagine those barrels would weigh a TON if you filled them even 3/4 of the way, no? -
I've never done any of it. Just snug the bases and ring screws down firmly but not farmer tight. Nothing ever came loose and I've mounted plenty of bases/rings and scopes. Yet.........!!

Wow.........those turkey must be pretty close to be able to observe spur length and pass on a two year old? Targeting certain gobblers? You must have quite a turkey population and a heck of a way to identify them. Where is your camp?

Hmmmm...... For me it was Alaska 1997. 11 nights in a 4 man POS tent with my buddy and all our wet crap. 12" of rain (measured at the Yakutat airport) fell in that time period. Good times...........................................................

One time I was walking out of Gander Mountain and I saw two guys in the vestibule pushing two shopping carts full of guns. I said, "woa, what's the scoop"? Turns out a buddy died and his wife said take them and liquidate them. Since they were already in the store there was not much I could do but shake my head and wonder......... I hope that the OP hasn't traveled the same path.

Take some pictures guys! I'll probably fish the Mighty (upper) Niagara River on opening day. Although I've fished my entire life, I've never fished opening day of bass. This will be my first opener.............as long as the weather cooperates. Luck to all!

Yes but if & when I'd be toting a vanilla 375 H&H. But then again a '06 wouldn't be out of the place IF I had one!!

Seems I have a loaded cartridge with that headstamp on it................wonder where THAT came from?????? Yea, that would be a world beater for sure but.............................................................................ya can't just drop into a Ace Hardware and score a box or two. I mean, who knows when you're going to be SOL with your ammo and need to make a quick run to town?? They probably DO have it in Jo-burg though.........................
