    Do you have an FFL in mind to handle the transfer? If so getting a price prior to the deal could save some hassle. I have a camo'd 12ga Remington Express with a short turkey barrel on it. Not exactly what you're looking for though.

    I had one for a few years and really liked it but sold it in lieu of buying the S&W Shield 9mm. Flip of a coin but for me the Shield was nicer. You'll be pleased with it I'd bet. Post up a range report when you can.

    My Shield in a Simply Rugged holster I just sold two days ago. The holster is sold, NOT the gun! If you have a place to shoot, I'd let you plink a few mags this summer.

    Why? I had a 27 and you couldn't give me another. How about a Glock 19, 23 etc. A Glock 19 is a 9mm and you can shoot that thing darn near cheaper than a .22 these days. Most people won't have much trouble concealing it either, especially if you're a big dude. I have a S&W Sheild in 9mm and it is the cats meow in my not too humble opinion. Being a new permit holder soon, go with an inexpensive to shoot, fun and reliable gun like a Glock and see WTH it's all about.

    I'd think tracking down the person who's name is on the tag's (multiple people?) should be easy enough. Maybe the owner of the tags didn't give permission for filling them and the guy panicked?? The guy probably croaked........ This could be like the Malaysia Airlines mystery.

    Merino wool is wonderful stuff. I have numerous brands and haven't been disappointed in any of it, Minus 33 is easily the best bang for the buck.

    Any old timers remember when it was in the convention center, downtown Buffalo? That was ended in the mid 90's IIRC and then they went to Hamburg. Seems like THAT was the good old days!

    About 7-8 years ago I bought one of Cabela's Whitetail Extreme jackets. It has their MTO50 material and is insulated, includes a great hood, and a ton of great pockets with great zippers. I got tired of all the suck ass weather in PA and NY during gun season and wearing rain gear in the slushy snow etc. It is camo of some sort so I just put my orange vest on when required. I really like it. And it is good luck.......................

    All these glowing reports have me giddy to saddle up first thing tomorrow for the ride over................ I'll probably still go as I have some unfinished business with one of the guys from Elite Bows. (and I still have a hankering for some fancy beer nuts.
