Thanks for the added edit. I'm not surprised in the least............experienced, ethical bow hunters know their limitations. We had a spirited thread here recently that had some folks pimpimg those long range shots and they needed schooling....

I don't know but you should give them a call and if they don't do it now, encourage them to start.

If you go back and look at some of her last posts you'll see nothing out of the ordinary. Most people that blast or go off in a huff will come back for a look every now and then, she hasn't been back since Feb 13th and her last post was just prior to that............................

AND, AND I went by your house yesterday on my back from some hiking on Doran Rd among other things.......Damn the luck but I can still spare a couple hundred if you'd like.

I went to the gun show today in Hamburg NY, "Niagara Frontier Gun Show" (or something to that effect) and was pleasantly pleased to once again see that the Erie County Pistol Permit people were there to facilitate the sales of handguns for residents of Erie County. I don't know how many years they have been doing that but I believe at least three?? That has really got to help both the vendors and of course the permit holders get the guns in the hands of the LAW ABIDING people. I saw a ton of transaction being done and almost pulled the "trigger" myself but held back............................. I also saw I believe Cattaraugus County Sheriff's Dept there doing transfers too. So, a big hearty thank you to those Erie County and Cattaraugus County staffers doing a Saturday & Sunday gig to help us all out.

Damn it Red, I just saw this now. I did go today, went around 12:00. If I'd have known, I would have met you there. I thought it was very good. As always too much military stuff for me but I cruise right by those vendors. I did find one pistol that peeked my curiosity but didn't do the reach around.............................grins. Scored another brick of CCI small rifle primers for a very good price, a vintage Sako patch that is destined for Ebay and a SCOPE sticker for the exterior glass on my p/u topper. (the one they give you goes on the inside of glass and that is NFG for tinted windows) I was looking for a 5 pack of snap caps for the .38 but didn't stumble onto them. It's a good thing I didn't have a pocket full-O-cash as I could have been tempted.................................
