Where is it going? You really think that somebody is looking around the woods, in the dark, for your bow that is hanging 16' in the air? Please............. I'd be more afraid of dropping the thing out of the stand when I went to lower it too the ground, THEN you could have problems.

I know plenty of people that wouldn't even think of shooting a 110" buck. You wouldn't be welcome at their camp. How could that be, a trophy to you is dogschit to somebody else. Weird, huh? I'll bet you wouldn't want to be told NOT to shoot a 110" buck, would you?

Because if you kill your buck with the bow then of course you are done buck hunting, just like PA. I like things the way they are. I can kill two bucks, one with bow or ML and then one during the regular season. I'll choose what I want to kill, maturity wise. When I decide, I'll pull the trigger. Phuck anyone that wants to tell me different, other than a landowner. Like I said at the start, YMMV. Too much crap on TV that has people thinking a monster buck is behind every tree. Don't be fooled by all that BS.

Tioga County. It's great to shoot big deer but I'd rather eat them than look at them on the wall. I've been very fortunate and killed plenty of decent bucks. How many can you mount or do european mounts on? I'm running out of room fast..........

I've hunted PA. for the past 31 years. I think I missed one year. It wouldn't be fair to compare where I hunt in NYS to my PA. area as far as available land and access. The only thing I can say is I don't like the PA. regs on antler restriction and antlerless slaughter. I'd rather see some deer and maybe crack a 4pt every other year than wait 5 years to kill a "big buck". Keep in mind, YMMV.

You could probably count all the deer I've killed from the ground on your hands and maybe a couple toes. WELL over a hundred from a tree. I like trees just fine.......

I hunted Wed afternoon and didn't see squat. Windy (NNW) and pretty darn cold. Would have liked to go back this morning but just couldn't do it. Twas a busy day at the mill stone........

Enjoy yourself in the rain Pretty hard to see anything with your hood up......... 40 degrees and rain sucks. You can't sit and concentrate if your cold & wet and I dispise a wet cigar........... Try a tree umbrella and you'll get it. Its not like I'm hunting from a cottage in my jammies..................<grin>

Anybody get a chance to use Deer Search this year yet and if so, how'd it go? My buddy had them out looking for a buck in early November. The trail was about 4 days old but they wanted to give it a shot anyway. No luck. How about you or your buds?
