    Scent control on opening day of gun is not too important to me. I'm just in it for fun at that point. I haven't done the BB thing in years. No reason other than I don't want to waste the time. Oatmeal, OJ and a piece -O- coffee cake and............ Egg salad w/green olives for lunch in the stand along with soup.

    Back on topic......... I killed a doe yesterday. 15 yards, coming to grab one of the last apples on the ground from the tree. East wind dictated using one of my favorite stands. East wind and a little drizzle.........works almost every time! Spent a few hours taking care of business due to the warm temps. Hang, skin, run to town for a couple bags of frozen water, quarter, bone, bag (2.5gal ZipLocks) put on ice in cooler, clean up, wash up, change, drop off hide at friends, dispose of parts, beat feet for home.

    I think they like to "hide" right in the gas station parking lot most of the time. That "no right on red" from 33 east to 77south is a bummer.......... And speeding......damn. Better really watch it. He only got me one time, 10 years ago for not having my license plate attached to my ATV trailer. It had fallen off that day (held on with baler twine) and it was in the back of the trailer, not visable. I produced it for him but that wasn't good enough. Prick. Derailed thread, sorry Grow.

    For quire a few years I went to Gamrods in Honeoye for a big breakfast opening morning. IIRC we would meet around 5:00am. Eat and then have a good bowel movement or three before hitting the stand in the dark. Good times but made for a rough morning after eating all that greasy stuff and sucking down a half a pot of Joe................uggggh!

    Only thing I remember is that you said to either unstring a recurve/longbow or put a cable lock on a compound. Please point me in the direction of your post that changed that. (your position changes so fast it is hard to keep up but I think I'm correct at this point....)

    Depending on the distance, cloud cover etc. your only about 30 minutes too soon or too late. I'd bet 99% of the bowhunters are NOT obeying the law on sunrise/sunset. Who wants to argue that one?

I told you to post it (and I even said I'd help) but you are a hard head and don't want to for some odd reason and then I said let that 50 yards (OUT OF YOUR 450 ACRES) slide.     Nice. I don't have a RB but I have a few Timney triggers. RB doesn't do LH Remington triggers or I'd have one.
