Looks like a nice crop for the fall.

They can be DARN tough to kill. I've cracked 'em in the melon with a .22LR and had them stumble around and craw back into their crib more than once. Tuesday evening I'm planning on stacking a few more?? We'll see.

My hunt kind of had a "family theme" if ya know what I mean. My Sako 22-250 with 50gr Nosler BT tracked this pair down......

Well done via the QT method! I did it via the bigger boom method earlier this week. I'll see if I can grab a pic......

Damn, that is really something. Congratulations sounds a bit hollow? What a great day for you and your wife! What are your plans to celebrate?

Guns aren't that great of an investment these days and can be very dificult to sell, especially the higher end ones. I've tried and it can be difficult, at best. Guns International is a good place to peruse to get some ideas of what similar guns are going for.

It's a visous circle of life. I saw a young gosling almost get creamed by a car today. Ma & pa went and rescued it and brought it back across the busy road to see another sunset, hopefully.

I'd sue like to see pics of these beauties!! Here is some recipe ideas that all sound good to ME!! From the "other" Babe....... .http://www.winkelman.com/recipes/18/walleye

Never cleaned mine or lubed it. IIRC is is 13 years old and still running strong EXCEPT the fact that I have had to sew on new velcro a couple times. No problem.......although it looks like Helen Keller did the job. <grin> I do have a back up release, same kind of "release", just a different strap set up. It has more of a glove than just a simple back of the hand deal. Hey Larry, WHO CARES? Sorry for the babble.......

Now, here is a side to Pygmy I didn't see coming! Pat McManus, is that you??????

Thanks for the link. I had another change of plans. The boat I was going to grab from my buddy turned out to be a real narrow beam and no drain plug hole. And....the oars were MIA. The hell with that one. I'll start looking for a package deal again. Maybe I can stumble onto a winner????? Bottom line................I don't need a trailer anymore, unless a decent boat sits on top of it!
-
Anybody have a trailer for a 14ft boot they would like to sell? Western New York area. Let me know, thanks.
-
Well, the complete rig with the 8hp Merc is gone. Anybody have a decent trailer??
-
I think biggamefish wanted to see pics almost 7 weeks ago. I thought for sure they were sold since you didn't post pics for him? I can't wait to see them.......
-
Keeping with the theme......... I will

Congrats!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've been looking at Rochester, Buffalo and other Craigslist ads and don't see much at all for decent motors or trailers. Like I said above, a friend said I could use his 14ft Sea Nymph. The deal I had spotted with the 8hp Merc, boat & trailer looks better............(it'll probably be gone anyway!)

Man Attempts to Cross Niagara Falls

Rockin Roll! I just turned it on, it looks like plenty of great press for a city in dire need. He's on the wire........................... -
Thanks guys. Plans may change here. I have an 9.9hp Mercury I can use/have that is my father in laws, only problem is it is from the mid 60's (yup, almost 50 years old) and hasn't seen the light of day for at least 20 years. I called a outboard repair shop today and he said probably $300 to get it up to speed them you never know what could happen........... THEN.........a good friend said I could use his 14ft Sea Nymph, forever. What that means is he won't sell it but someday (it'll never happen) he might want it back. That would only happen if he used up his 1987 Lund & 9.9 Mercury that has also only seen daylight 5 or 6 times since he bought them new. Now I need a good motor & trailer. What you guys have?!?!

Talked with a farmer in Naples earlier this week and he said the army worms had already destroyed two of his fields. I saw some funky looking worms in my garden this morning and on my lawn here in WNY.......the battle is on!! Chemical warfare is NOT out of the question. <<grin>>

Hey Guys & Gals.....I'm looking at a 14ft Smokercaft boat that has a 8hp Mercury. I plan on using the rig on Canadice & Hemlock Lakes and 10hp is the max. Am I going to see a big difference between an 8hp and a 10hp? I've never been thought of as a little guy so if we have me (240lbs.) and a guest at 50% of me, how is the 8hp going to do? Enough juice to haul my butt around or should I look for a 10hp? Thanks......

Just put my camera out last saturday in Canadice. Battery power was about 70% (last years juice) so we'll see what we get in a few weeks. The trail it is on is hammered.
