  1. I do like to check the heart and lungs….
  2. I remember you mentioning about the lefty option and what a slick set up it was when I shot it.
  3. I've avoided this thread for a bunch of reasons but since you chimed in and I've handled (and I think I shot one of yours?) that'd my choice as long as I could stash an extra barrel in my attic. Bye bye NULA's..........
  4. The buck looks great. That’s a “sneak” form? One of my favorites….. What did he score? I got the invite also to the banquet but I won’t be going. Have fun!!
  5. I’ve received a PM from a member. This is spoken for now……
  6. There’s a turkey hunting vest in the package too.
  7. I'm not sure how to go about this. My father gave me a bunch of camo clothing and said do what I want with it as his turkey hunting/bow hunting days are done. Some things have sizes but most don't. 34-36 waist x 30-32 length pants, jackets are XL. All are cotton and pretty lightweight. If you have a son or know a boy that could use these items, send me a PM. I'll ship them or if your local we could meet somewhere. Not looking for any money, I just hope they can be used by someone for hunting, not a fashion statement.
  8. 7 hours between posts on this thread…….it’s a damned Miracle Johnny!
  9. Send an email to Cornell
  10. Give me an address, I’d be happy to send you one just for setting it up.
  11. He must have a hell of a big cooler…..
  12. I guess I never chimed in with my preferred way of securing my bow (and sometimes my gun) in a tree stand. This may not be relevant to the theme of this thread but I love the Realtree EZ Hanger, the 23" is my favorite.
  13. Mr. Conservative is something I'm not called very often. I don't know about 30# but the bucks I've killed the past 10 years that broke 200# sure had HUGE necks and shoulders. Lots of what a good but deceased friend would call "pure sex" when it came to something as special as venison.
  14. While I "liked" your post I disagree with your not using the shoulders or neck. If you shoot 3-4 deer a year you're probably leaving 30 pounds or more (?) of ground venison to critters that didn't earn it. Man what a shame.......
  15. Happy Birthday guys......wherever you may be, I hope you are celebrating your big day.
  16. 80 years old. Quite a nice run……
  17. Andrew not Mario ya lugnut
  18. I’d be happy to add to the clinic.
  19. And they say variety is the spice of life. I guess so!
  20. For years getting rid of the "parts" was difficult. I had permission to use a couple dumpsters at some condos but if certain residents saw it they'd raise a stink.....when the town I live in introduced the large wheeled totes it changed my world. If I recall correctly they have a 325lbs capacity. (and yes, sometimes they get ripe depending on the weather)
  21. Have grinder, knives and cutting board-will travel.
  22. Butchering is very gratifying..........
