Why is the waterfowl forum in the regional section but the other game sections are under hunting? Anyhow, i've been after duck once with a buddy that had a boat, dog, decoys etc. I don't have a boat or desire to go to the water, but I have friends who I know field hunt goose. How doable is it? What's the effort vs the reward and are they any good at all to eat? I can basically kick these things on the sidewalk at work, so the thought of going out early and getting skunked is kind of turn off. But it would be fun to kill some time before deer. I realize I'm late this year, but thinking ahead.

what if you tested it and it came back negative?

there's a guy in upstate ny rocking a clemson shirt in those pics. blasphemy! -
that's the problem. i have a few dozen that I no longer use, but really don't have the heart to toss. i think it's the zombie apocalypse mentality. like i just might need these again some day lol.

i know it's hard to sort out these days, but i thought hill beat his girl, not his kid? they're similar to the bills though. haven't really played anyone yet.

Anyone use a Trigger stick for Xbow?

oh come on, you should know by now i'm just stirring the pot. i dont even really care anymore. -
Bills D is honestly top 5, if not top 3. Yes their comp has been subpar, but there's some ballers on that defense.

i have one for my compound too... oh wait, it's a bow and not a gun -
i saw that stat on the broadcast and thought it was odd too. because yes, in 2011 they were 3-0, which included a win over the pats.

i'm still young and in good shape, but i recall a big buck I shot in a valley a few years back and I was mentally and physically spent by the time I got to the truck. Getting that buck into the back of the truck took the last amount of energy I had. I think the hitch carts are good and they also make hitch winch/hanger systems.

there's something about that morning bow hunt, and then a ride on the mower in the afternoon. A crisp cool day and the smell of cut grass and dried leaves... man that gets me going.

i root for the giants as my nfc team, but yeah there's all this praise for Jones, and rightfully so he played well... but damn a pretty easy kick that was missed and you're 0-3.

What are your expectations for the season?
Five Seasons replied to Robhuntandfish's topic in Deer Hunting
I'm more interested in shooting my first black bear than anything, but if we're talking whitetails, in order: 1. at least 3 deer in the freezer 2. at least 1 nice 2.5 or older 3. a buck on the wall 4. 2 nice 2.5's or older (did this last year and it's a great feeling) -
yeah you can only play who your schedule provides for you, but a combined 1-8 (and the giants really should have lost) is nothing to be too cocky about. Still, this is good momentum for a young team.

that is foolish my friend. Whenever I think I'm done for the year I have at least 2 more haha. Plus I like to mow into the fall and mulch the leaves.

https://www.themeateater.com/listen/meateater/ep-184-managing-bambi you can also find it on your apple phone, just open the podcast app and search meateater. androids use stitcher i think. -
exactly, i spent hours in the roc one looking for good deals. I would something "drastically marked down" google it and it was still cheaper online than in gander. i think i bought $100 or so worth of stuff and honestly didn't save much if anything.

study hall in the library, junior year. i even remember what i was wearing. principal ran in and turned the tv on the projector. my company is a large defense corporation. we did a moment of silence, flag raising, speech and sang the national anthem at 8:44. America. Never Forget.
