  1. I never said anything negative, my point is regarding those that act like they're better or superior hunters because of numbers alone. Both types of hunters are needed. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  2. Pure numbers... And birds are cool. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  3. Kind of how I feel. I've never understood the hunter that brags about numbers. It's not a numbers game, especially in areas where there's overpopulation. The guy that shoots a mature buck every 2 or 3 years is more impressive to me. Heck I can do an Irish jig on my stand and a bb won't even flinch. I find no issue with the follow up shots, I believe the issue here is that the initial shot was poor. So when you're required to do follow ups because you took a very poor initial shot it gets called out. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  4. There's a few with that problem here, although it's odd they seem to be the same people who call the rest of us morons... Www.Facebook.com/clickonmylinkyousheep Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  5. 100% fact Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  6. Is this for real? You don't bow hunt because there's bad hunters around you? I've never lost one... Guess I should stop because others are wounding. Also I didn't realize guns were 100% lethal. A deer always heals better from an arrow wound then a gun. Cut vs tear. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  7. I don't. Case and point the news story with the doe with an arrow through her jaw earlier this year. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  8. So they're all dead... But that second shot wasn't ideal. Not a fan personally, especially promoting it, but if it's legal... To each his own. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  9. What the heck grow? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  10. It's not great. Could have shot a small 6 once. The trick is go deep in. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  11. I guess I don't understand all the talk in this thread about hunting, fresh venison etc. I have certainly experienced the change in attitude with guns, but not with hunting. If anything it's gotten better. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  12. Lol. Duck dynasty didn't need publicity. One of the highest rated cable shows Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  13. Crack is not coke. You have to cook the coke to crystallize it to form a crack rock. You can't just smoke coke in powder form. Just saying. I thought everybody has watched the wire multiple times no? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  14. Not to be not picky but the 23 is the compact, the 27 is subcompact. You're correct regarding the 22 being full/standard. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  15. I love sigs. Might have to seriously consider that one Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  16. How much shooting and how many firearms are pictured? I think hunting still gets a pass from most when it comes to guns. I said most, not all.
  17. I didn't realize you could smoke coke
  18. My thoughts. I did some hunting at Darien state park with bird hunters around, I didn't really get mad. It's frustrating but it's not my private land. The trick is to move further in from the fields and let the bird hunters push the deer to you.
  19. I just began shooting my first pistol that I just got a few weeks ago the .40 glock23. Not very comfortable to cary but good enough during winter and fall with my IWB galco. I've always eyed the lc9 or lc40. But just not sure. Regardless I want to pick up a .22 for practice. Any suggestions for something that's a little more punch then a .22 but still carry? Not trying to hijack, just very new to pistols. Thanks.
  20. I've always preferred to use a hand warmer and light gloves. There certainly have been times I've had deer around me for long periods of time and my hands gotten cold, but it's rare.
  21. I bought a matching pant/top sweatpant outfit a year ago from bebe for my wife. $120 a think? wtf...
  22. you need to take some better pics dude. That looks like a nice buck, get some good pics of him. A little confused about an arrow head shot... but congrats because they're both hanging.
  23. Radio, If I wasn't on my phone id point you to the paragraph of what he said before he made his famous comment. In summary he was saying that if we all could look towards God and be nice to each other it'd be a better world. He was not advocating we go out and lynch gays, but that he himself did not understand it. The media conveniently leaves hat part out though.
  24. I think it's a little bit of both. A buck will take risks he normally wouldn't, but not extreme. Mature bucks will go nocturnal and get their freak on at night.
