He and his family receive death threats as a result of people like Ingram pushing fake news and attempting to smear him and you are ok with that but when he turns the tables it’s no good. Got it. Maybe instead of continually giving these kids a stage to speak on some one should refocus on what actually happened and how the system failed to do its job unilaterally across the board. Government at its finest, make laws and don’t enforce them and then blame the guns and make more laws.

This is our other dog, when she was in better health I trained her to retrieve to hand and she would try to run with the big dogs in the brush. She has some rare disease that is killing her for a couple years now but keeps on ticking. One tough Frenchy.

I don’t think so

Did adults make fun of you on the national level because they didn’t agree with you? The point is grown men and will men are attacking these kids for standing up for something they believe in after they witnessed a terrible event. Seems like the rolls have reversed for some.

Yes I know, it’s a paraphrase from Kates. “This is not a statement that appears in any translation of any of Freud's works.” “Due to misreading of this essay and its citations, this paraphrase of an opinion about Freud's ideas has been wrongly attributed to Freud himself, and specifically to his 10th Lecture "Symbolism in Dreams “ and last but not least the actually line Kates formed his opinion from.. "The representation of the penis as a weapon, cutting knife, dagger etc., is familiar to us from the anxiety dreams of abstinent women in particular and also lies at the root of numerous phobias in neurotic people." Meme on fellas

What were you doing at his age making foil hats?

I like the top one because of it’s photoshop fail. It’s just a hand holding a sign that is not attached to anyone. The qoute beneath it is not a quote from Freud, but hey it looks legit!

Shorten the beak and ditch the massive nose holes (or whatever they are called). Tiny little dimples would work. Other than that I think you got it. Its an alligator right?

When you are ready for meat birds I recommend finding a hatchery because they are way cheaper than TSC even with their sale and you will know for certain when they were hatched. Plus they seem to be healthier. Here’s a link with prices, http://www.neppahatchery.net/Products.html They don’t need much for shelter which is nice, basically just some shade and the basics and they are good. We use a place out of Fort Plain in the Amish area, they let us order X amount and we can pick them up in batches so we don’t have to butcher all of them at once. We contemplated pigs but they will rut up the land and make a mess and they like to escape. The last thing I want to do is round up a big fat angry pig.

Same here, I think we are getting into goats next to make milk, cheese and soaps and sell some for meat and a sheep or two also. We started three years ago with a few hens and now we have four coops and runs and more meat birds each summer. We love it.
-
Ha same here, I was adding trenching yesterday. I must have a few hundred feet in different spots by now. We live in a wet area at he bottom of a gentle slope and my main trench runs like a river in the spring.

Meat birds are at least ten times as stinky as hens, we did @18 the first year and went from there. I built a plucker from looking on the internet and a chicken tractor out of pvc and netting.
-
Adkhunter have you looked into adding a poo funnel under where the roosts will be? That way you could direct the nasty towards the metal floor, we use a tarp under the main roost and it helps keep it contained and makes clean up easy. With 100 birds you might need something strong like metal.

Bingo, we put hay down in our run to help keep it dry this time of year plus the birds love scratching around in it.
-
If you get a rooster he will control the flock (stop hens from fighting) and protect them from predators. Mostly by always being on the lookout and sounding the alarm at the sight of danger. We have plastic netting over all our runs but let the birds free range in the afternoon after they are done laying. That’s my Jake in my avatar from yesterday out strutting his stuff. The turkeys also provide protection, not much wants to mess with a big ole turkey. The main threat is the night time predators, keep them closed in a night and safe from break ins and they will be fine. Rats love to kill by biting the neck and licking the blood, bastards.

Ducks are messy, we decided to harvest ours and the coop, run is so much better now. They root around with their bills and make things extra muddy. We are happy they are gone. The eggs are higher in protein, have a different taste but it’s not as noticeable when scrambled. And they are loved by some bakers.

What are you going to do with 60 dozen eggs a week? We can sell @8-10 dz a week here, lots of folks have hens nowadays. We have plenty of interest from folks in buying meat birds and turkeys, I think we are going to sell a few meaties this year and have sold turkeys before. It helps off set cost of food and bedding and egg cartons. You might want to order a case or two of the cartons by the way if you haven’t already.

Nice. Sap is running great, just got done cooking for today after a longer 11 hr cook down yesterday. Today was only @8 hrs. Beautiful day to be out side by the fire.

Come on by and I’ll give you some fresh syrup in exchange for some breakfast. Lol

If you put a big enough swimming pool at the bottom you could do cannon balls to stay cool on those hot early days. Of course the pool would have to be 25 feet deep to off set your large size or there would be a sunami in the woods and no water would be left in the pool.

Make sure to leave the top off so there is room for your over inflated ego.

Pffft. Ain’t nothing that tractor can do that I can’t do with a Crafstmen jk. Hahahahaha Nice rig! I was close to getting one like that last year but couldn’t justify it, now the wife is talking about adding on to the operation here. Sighhhhhh

I don’t trim too often, once they break in they get more flexible which is what you want so they can form a seal at the roof of your mouth.
