  1. Better off learning how to use the internet. don’t buy, I don’t give a shit.
  2. That’s a different site, muckoutlets is not the same as muckoutlet-top Hate to break it to you but you are wrong. We have used this site before and it is legit. We have several pair of boots from there and had no issues.
  3. Now that you have one Browning you will find more you want to own. It’s addicting, you have been warned.
  4. Stock up on boots fellas. https://www.muckbootcompany.com/?c1=GAW_SE_NW&source=BRND&campaign=1587538522_63568150487&kw=muckboots_e&cr5=298448975731&cr7=m&gclid=EAIaIQobChMI486mi-yP5gIVBVYMCh327A9SEAAYASAAEgJ9-fD_BwE
  5. Thin blue line represents my guess of the bullet path and the white cloud is the debris/hair field it created.
  6. It’s like being able to read what a fart would smell like every time he posts.
  7. That spot some guys are thinking is the impact is just a shadow from the near leg being folded up. low shot plain and simple, it’s not rocket science, if you hit them where you think you did they die quick.
  8. We’ve seen a few moose by taking a left on the Golden Road and going up along the river early. We saw two young bulls to the right on the GR once too. My favorite was the one we jumped while bird hunting. Those suckers take off like a rocket.
  9. Yea, moose river where it turns into Moosehead Lake. We stayed on Brassua once, our first trip up. Then we stayed at a cabin on the end on Maynard road next to what shows up as an air field though it’s really just a open field.
  10. Kinda rare for that area. Can’t hunt them there but you can further north. There’s enough around that I had to lecture my wife and son to make 100% certain that they had the right type grouse.
  11. Nice Spruce Grouse!! I have yet to encounter one up there, they are more prevalent up near Baxter. Flooded roads can be a pain in the arse when it gets too deep to cross. It caused me to back track 60 miles once lol.
  12. No, the last cabin before that group. Just around the corner. We had a moose go through the yard one night there.
  13. I had to look, the pond area I have pictures of was near Misery Pond. We fished Misery stream up through for Brook trout and caught a bunch. The pic in my avatar came from that day some where way out. We
  14. Last time up (2 years now) we stayed here. I recognized that small island, there was a Loon nested there that dive bombed my wife’s kayak when she got to close. We still laugh about that one.
  15. You in Rockwood now? Looks familiar as does the last pics of the damned up water. Awesome trip, I’m happy for you.
  16. The Hellcat would pull that lil 6 all day every day. Don’t be fooled by some of the times you’ll see from a 6, they come from pro riders on a prepped track. On top of that the cat would still be going after you top out at @140.
  17. Circling is a symptom of Brain Worm. More of a problem than Cwd.
  18. I’ll be sure to let the guy that does all of the training on the east coast know he, and all of corporate that are in charge of buying a fleet of tractors for Fed Ex are wrong because you copy and pasted what a marketer said on a hunting site. I’m sure they’ll agree.
  19. Raptors are the number one predator of grouse. Some studies show that coyote help by way of controlling the other small predators. Aspen is a small part of what they feed on, more important in winter. They also do better in areas with deeper snow cover when they can tunnel down to feed safely. Proper cover is key. Ny and Nj will never improve because of forever wild.
  20. No it’s done for the improvement in gas mileage, you still take your test on a standard and may have to drive one. If not you get a license that limits you to an automatic. Every shift is programmed, no over revving from the driver ever.
  21. Golden Road gets pounded, if you go look further out or find areas that can’t be driven around. Everyone from every where drives logging roads looking for tracks. I saw more hunters there than I have here in NY lol
  22. I’ve been yearning for a trip, no vacation till the first two weeks of November. Apparently no one hunts at my job, 32 out of @40 guys and the entire fall was open for picks! We might go but have to wait to see how school is going for both kids next fall because we would have to pull them out.
  23. 165 finished temp for poultry. I’m assuming you pulled it and let it rest and retemped it at 165? Brine will help add flavor, for wild birds I’d go at least 24 hours. Store bought birds are injected with crap needing less time in brine.
