  1. Just starting to flight birds, a couple of weeks behind but on the way none the less.
  2. The reason why it has spread so rampant in those areas is because of how the handle their dead which is where it is most easiest to catch. The final stages and after death are the worst. There are cases where family's are lying and bribing to get the bodies of loved ones back, remember not every one has the same death rituals that we do.
  3. Ebola is not really the easiest transmitted virus, every one in a hospital setting is aware and preparing should an outbreak happen. Sme of that preparation is over kill IMO but it's better to be over prepared than under. Unless a person is in the final stages of Ebola it's not any more scary than any other nasty thing you could catch anywhere in public. I bet you ten bucks a drug company is working on a vaccine that we will see soon. They will then be even richer when folks line up to get their shot.
  4. I only mentioned it as another reason to pass him and didn't intend to start a hunting times thread. Sorry Sam hope this one doesn't get derailed.
  5. Nice, I am right on the red line on the Dec chart in Saratoga County. Makes things easy for me.
  6. What time was sunset for you? Would have been past time for me and the Dec chart has it past for you or close to it I think anyway.
  7. Maybe he didn't want to be bothered in the waiting room?
  8. I love hang on's with rapid rails. Easy to set and light enough to carry a ways. I also have a few hang ons with screw in steps. And of course I still hunt and ground blinds.
  9. I'm with you Grow, no difference to me but maybe that's because I did it last week. Lol
  10. Keep tabs on Havoc archery on Central ave, they have a few used bows on the rack. Im guessing you are right handed, that makes it pretty easy to find a cheap used bow or a lower end new bow.
  11. 10/9 First one from out back of the new place. Kids (10&5) helped track, gut and drag her out.
  12. http://www.ruffedgrousesociety.org/Migration-Map-History#.VDZVXKb3bCQ I love hunting those boogers and can't wait! I am heading out around home this weekend to check out some new coverts/hunt.
  13. Good quality performing utility guns at what I consider low end price. That makes it a good deal in my book.
  14. Lol lol lol Hypocrite. You have embraced all sorts of tech over the years in the same fashion as this new generation. Cordless phones, cell phones, computers, high speed Internet, cars your collection of archery gear, you name it and you are using it. It's not the end of the world just because technology passed you by long ago. And just what do you do to teach the younger generations what you speak of?
  15. I'm gonna vote twice for him now!!!! Wow where will I spend all of MY own money?
  16. Says the guy with thousands of posts on an Internet forum.
  17. I just secured permission near the new house on 100 acres of cut corn filled with geese tonight. I am one happy guy ????
  18. Gfdepudty I moved away from Muzzy this year, seemed like a slight drop in material quality once Rage bought them out. I am using NAP Killzones.
  19. Preserves are controlled by the Dec though you aren't required to hold a license, Sept 1 is the opener and it typically goes until March 31 but can be extended to April 15th.
