250-300? No clue, I have Iron sights and have never attempted that distance. I am going to do 200 at the range with mine for fun but that won't be any kind of indication of how they will perform obviously. I can set you up with a few if/when we meet up if you don't have a winner before then.

I only know what I use, I'm pretty limited with knowledge of bullets but..I shoot Hornady Great Plains Bullets in 385 Grain. Just ordered three boxes from Cabelas last night actually, $12.99 for 20. For me, they work great, but I have a 1-48 twist. I am going to try them out of my wife's in-line when I get time.

Too long to cut and paste the article but this really is much ado about nothing. I'm not sure who is blowing out of proportion more, the supporters or the detractors. I found the writer's words far more offensive than anything Phil said.

The overall gist of what he said is not that alarming if you ask me though I have yet to read the full interveiw, I had to laugh last night as I watched 3 minutes of Anderson Cooper who happens to be openly gay. After all of the talking heads got done ranting he basicaly said...He didn't care what Phil said because he, and every one else, has a right to have an opinion. Kind of funny that Anderson had to sit through the talking heads BS'ing to say he didn't care...lol
